We joined BDA in February 2026. At the time, we were saving money, but we didn't have a budget. Honestly, I was apprehensive about creating one because I was afraid of how much we were spending if we looked closely at our accounts. My husband had always encouraged us to keep a budget. I should've listened earlier. Haha! Fast forward to today—we have a budget, and more importantly, we actually stick to it. What's even more meaningful is that we became a one-income household in March when I left my job to stay home and spend more time with our baby boy. Thanks to the financial confidence and clarity we've gained through BDA, I'm able to enjoy this season with him without feeling guilty about walking away from a great career opportunity.
