Sorely disappointed.
I bought the Lymow One Plus because it looked like a tank that could handle my yard. Mechanically, it traverses well and cuts good, but as a reliable mower, it is a massive letdown. For what this thing costs, it shouldn't be failing when you actually need it to work.The biggest issue is that it cannot handle the summer heat. Down here in Texas, when the grass is growing the fastest, this mower taps out. Once the internal electronics get hot, the blades shut off to protect the motors. I get protecting the hardware, but instead of stopping to cool down, the mower just keeps driving around the yard blindly. It drains the battery and puts wear on the tracks without cutting a single blade of grass. The manufacturer put the electronics inside a sealed black box with no air vents, so it basically bakes in the sun. This is a terrible design flaw, not just a software bug, and an over-the-air update isn't going to fix the fact that it has zero airflow. The app is also a headache if you don't use the automated schedules. I have gates to open and I have to scoop the yard before I run it, so every one of my mows is an on-demand start. Whenever you do a manual start, the app completely ignores all the custom settings you programmed for your zones. It defaults back to its own random blade speed, travel speed, and cutting height. So every single time I want to mow, I have to go in and manually fix the settings. It completely defeats the purpose of having saved zones.If you run into issues, don't expect any real customer service. There is no phone number to call. You have to email them, and you are doing great if you get a response back within a week. Their warranty is basically useless if you want to get your mower back to work quickly. Bottom line, the Lymow One Plus tracks well and cuts good when it runs, but it can't handle mowing in the summer heat, the app is busted for on-demand use, and the support is non-existent. Save your money until they fix the overheating design and start backing up their product.
