Fair seller, great DIY kit – Arthur’s claims don’t hold up

I’m a hobbyist builder in the US, and I ordered the same Flying V DIY kit (PFV-637) from guitarkit.shop. My kit arrived well‑packed, and after a careful inspection, the neck, frets, and body were exactly as described – no protruding frets, no structural issues. A few things stood out to me while reading Arthur’s complaint: The product page clearly states that bridge/tailpiece holes are not pre‑drilled unless you ask. That’s not a flaw – it’s a standard DIY choice. When Arthur raised concerns, the seller offered multiple fair options: partial refund, replacement body, new neck, or even a full return. He refused all of them. He then opened a PayPal dispute, but submitted a fake tracking number – PayPal confirmed this is not their practice. He also claimed $187 for a “refret” but never provided a single receipt, despite being asked repeatedly. I’ve built several kits over the years, and this one is solid value for $198. The seller has been transparent, patient, and willing to resolve issues – but you can’t reason with someone who ignores facts and makes threats. If you read the product description and ask questions before buying, you’ll have a great experience. I’m very happy with my build, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again. Don’t let one bad‑faith review scare you – this is a trustworthy shop.
