They post very affordable flights on their site, just like any traveler we booked our tickets with Travelopick, pay with our credit card , got our booking number with the status Pending , for the elderly folks like us we didn’t see the red flag yet after 10 minutes of booking transaction. About 25 minutes later we got a notice to call their agent that when the scam tactic began, they demanded more money for the tickets , we didn’t agree to it and want to cancel our purchase that when we were threatened with a hefty cancellation fee almost as much as the xtra money to keep the tickets. At this point we were scared and realized our credit card got hooked ! One of us called the credit card company for help with canceling our purchase , one of us googled “ Travelopick is scammer?” And found out we are not alone ! We should have checked their reviews before handing them our credit card and authorized it . This is a vulnerable and bad experience for us as senior citizens dealing with Travelopick.
