I purchased some plates from the “until then auction house” located in New York State. Live auctions made a deal with them where they were the only shipping partner. Everyone that uses live auctions knows their shipping is notoriously high. Live auctions sent me a shipping fee of $506. When I complained after many weeks they said they would send a shipping refund of $90. Then sent a new invoice for $561 and said fees were added. I asked them how many of their auction houses they had this kind of arrangement with and they would not answer me. They first told me I had other shipping options but after discussing it with the auctioneer said no and they had an exclusive shipping agreement with him. This isn’t right. I just want people to be aware this can happen to your auction. I did not understand this when they said they shipped with live auction. I bought many things through them always had options before
