Buyer Beware - Triple Check What You Receive
I ordered Proclear Toric contacts and received the wrong prescription for my left eye — Axis 140 was prescribed, but all 12 lenses shipped were Axis 40, a 100-degree error. The prescription on file was correct, so this was Lens.com's mistake, not mine. I didn't catch it right away because I'd already cut the UPCs off the boxes for the required rebate submission. In 30+ years of wearing contacts, I've never once received the wrong prescription, so it didn't occur to me to double-check. I called twice to resolve it. Both times, customer service blamed me for not checking the lenses more carefully and refused to take responsibility — no refund, no correct replacement, not even a discount on replacements despite their error. Contact lenses are a medical device; getting the prescription right isn't optional, and a company should own its mistakes rather than blame the customer. Can't recommend ordering from Lens.com.
