Alibaba Guarantee works Seller Favour
Alibaba Guarantee only seems to work for Chinese based customers if a large item is purchased. There rules and regulations put the seller first. A large item was delivered overseas to our factory. It does not work. The Alibaba dispute team the emailed us on what we can do to verify this situation. We are the one's who had to organise a third party inspection (at our expense) or we could send the large item back (at our expense) to be verified by a third party inspection? The Seller was not responsible or liable for anything even though the machine does not work 'properly'. Attached is what Alibaba wrote to us in regards to inspection process. This was my response below: 1.Third-party Inspection It is mentioned the buyer and the seller need to agree to proceed with a third-party inspection. How are we to know if the seller has agreed to this? Have they contacted you? Also what if they disagree? 2. China based inspection companies The below inspection companies mentioned are based in China. The machine that is faulty is based in Melbourne, Australia? Can you please confirm what the next step is. Do you have companies in Melbourne, Australia you would like us to use? We were clear and honest throughout this process. Weeks of emailing that was a complete waste of time. And we have worn all the costs.
