Dishonest trap — Avoid them at all costs!
I have been stuck with ADT for three long years, paying nearly $80 a month for a system that has been a nightmare to get help with ever since the day it was installed. Their agents are trained to confuse and fool customers rather than actually help or explain how things work. When my three-year contract finally ended, I called specifically to cancel. Instead, they reeled me back in with a supposedly great offer to lower my rate to just $18 a month, completely lacking any basic honesty or integrity. What they intentionally failed to tell me—and neatly hid in their deceptive pitch—was that this massive discount came with secretly stripping away essential features, most importantly my video history. Their shady tactics prove they care more about locking you into a new agreement than being transparent. Save your money and look elsewhere, or, get a dog, better than ADT.
