I had a very disappointing experience with RTS Factoring. When everything is going well, the service seems fine. However, when a payment issue arises, don’t expect much support. In my experience, they also stop funding your loads over very minor issues. That makes it extremely difficult to run a trucking business because cash flow is critical. Instead of working with their customers to resolve problems, they often put funding on hold. I had a load that remained unpaid for months. Instead of helping resolve the issue, RTS repeatedly requested the same documents, then started charging the money back to my account. After months of going back and forth, they eventually gave up on the collection effort, leaving me to deal with the problem on my own. As a carrier, I expected my factoring company to stand behind me and make a stronger effort to collect from the broker. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I cannot recommend RTS based on my experience. I hope they improve the way they handle disputed invoices and provide better support to their customers when problems arise.
