Paid €294 for repair, stuck for over a month, and support is downgrading my gear
I am writing this review to warn anyone considering Mammotion products about their abysmal post-warranty customer service and repair process. My Yuka died out of nowhere (Error 1105 / driver board failure) exactly 2 years and 1 day after activation—right as the Kickstarter warranty expired. I sent it to the EU repair center and was billed €294 out of pocket, which I paid immediately. What followed has been a complete nightmare: Extreme Delays: It took over 3 weeks just to receive a 3-word diagnostic report ("Driver Board Defect"). In total, I have been left without a working mower for over a month during peak August season. Broken Agreements: Because the repair was taking so long, Mammotion support formally offered me a replacement unit (Yuka 2000), explicitly promising in writing that it would have "at least the same functionality and model as your original device". I accepted and signed the agreement right away. Bait-and-Switch on Hardware: My original paid setup includes two batteries, which are required for properly operating the Sweeper Kit. Support has now sent an email stating they will only send a unit with a single battery—directly going back on their written agreement and downgrading the gear I originally purchased and paid to service. Evasive Support: For days, customer support has been stalling with generic template responses about "checking warehouse stock", refusing to provide a clear shipping date or tracking number. Paying nearly €300 for a repair only to be stalled for a month and then handed a downgraded product is completely unacceptable business conduct. Unless this case (RMA: DR202607110171) is resolved immediately with the full dual-battery configuration dispatched as agreed, I am escalating this matter directly to the European Consumer Centre (ECC Net) and consumer protection authorities. Acknowledge your written agreements and ship the correct unit.
