£154.49 Paid, Goods Never Received, Then Offered Only a 50% Refund
If you want to lose money, you should go ahead and order from Mollyevers An extremely disappointing experience with Molly Evers and one I believe other potential customers should be aware of. I paid £154.49 by credit card for my order. Molly Evers arranged delivery through Yodel. I did not independently choose or appoint the courier. I never received the goods and they never came into my physical possession. Despite this, when I contacted Molly Evers, rather than simply refunding an order I had not received, I was told that the situation was my fault and was offered only a 50% refund. I explained my position in detail and referred Molly Evers to Section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 concerning when risk in goods passes to the consumer. I also made it completely clear that I was seeking a full refund of the £154.49 I had paid. I subsequently gave the company a clear opportunity to resolve the matter and requested confirmation of my full refund. They have not responded. I now intend to pursue recovery through my credit card provider, including the protections available under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 where applicable. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is not simply the failed delivery. Delivery problems can happen. It is the way the situation has been handled afterwards. As a customer, I paid £154.49, did not receive my goods, and then had to spend my time arguing as to why I should not lose half of my money for an order I never physically received, they have now gone silent which is fine for them as they have my money and the dresses are being returned to them. This company Molly Evers is an absolute scam ! I will update this review if the company subsequently provides the full refund or otherwise resolves the matter.
