SCAM: Stay Away
Ordered three boxes over three months for the promotional America’s 250th birthday to get the blackstone grill and found out on the third box that my promo code was invalid. Very odd since I have screenshots of the promo code used and it was the only reason why I even ordered in the first place and I have texts where I sent friends to sign up with that same promo code. Fast forward to today, last week I got my third box and was expecting the blackstone grill. The box came a day late completely thawed and half my order inside was incorrect. No biggie I thought as I reached out to customer support multiple times because their live chat sucks. They sent me a new box and escalated the blackstone grill to see if I can get one. The new box came this time very frozen and on time but still with half the order wrong. They also said I don’t get the grill. I’ve wasted my money, expectations, and time; now that I can be more honest, this company is terrible. The quality is F tier compared to ButcherBox. The customer service is just as bad. Takes forever to connect to an agent and they constantly are disconnecting from my live chats. They didn’t escalate anything until I wanted to cancel. I told them to cancel my subscription and they still are making me reach out to support again a week after trying to cancel to cancel again. Stay away from this company. Good Chop has been the worst experience for me and I wouldn’t recommend them. Go buy butcher box instead.
