TurboTenant

Bait and switch

Bait and switch I was using the free tier to write a lease agreement. At the beginning of the process I was given the option of subscribing or just paying a one-time $56 fee for the lease. After spending nearly an hour adapting the lease to my needs I went to pay. The $56 one-time fee was no longer an option. I had to subscribe either for $149 or $199. I don't have any other rentals. I'm not planning to use the app other than for the lease agreement. Now I'm stuck with $149 subscription that I'm not going to use. It was a nice lease, once I modified it, but I would not have chosen to pay $149 for it. I also used the screening option, and it was nearly useless and difficult to read. There was no chat available to ask questions. Lastly, when I found a tenant I asked turbo tenant to take down my marketing. They told me they would but that it would take two or three days. So for the next 2 days I continued to get inquiries. It was very annoying. Hard to believe that this is the top rated rental site. It could be really good, but it needs some work.
