During the relocation of my internet
During the relocation of my internet, I went to the maxis store to be told that I could book a relocation until 3 days before. I thought giving a month’s notice would allow for a definite date for transfer. The maxis centre assured me it was not necessary. Then after checking all the steps with the agent a month prior explaining my wife who holds the contract would be away I was told it was not a problem. As predicted, it was a problem. My wife contacted customer services daily, sharing all the requested evidence to support the transfer. Each message, replied “we will expedite this”, “we are transferring to a dedicated department” and for over a month this continued. Paying full price for a service not being provided. Finally after much arguments the day came for install and no notification came other than the appointment. When calling maxis after the scheduled time we were told “the appointment has been cancelled, have not been informed?” After a further rescheduling and multiple delays from our 9:30am appointment THREE workers arrive at 11am. Makan makan is clearly a necessary stop over scheduled appointments. The three workers then proceeded to look at each box they brought like it was the first time seeing it. The plug and play of the WiFi box is second nature to any adult now. Scanning the qr code and adding the data could be completed by my 5 year old yet it took 3 “trained adults” 20 minutes to even open the box or app. The insult of paying for a service made me want to cancel and never see maxis again. The clear incompetence of all workers added it. The sheer rage that I would need to pay out the entire contract to cancel it fuelled this further especially when they are in breach of contract at failing to provide the service I had paid for, for over a month!!! I cannot trash this company enough to come close to how truly awful they are.
