Xinjiang
Xinjiang, August 2026 — a journey I will never forget! Travelling through Xinjiang with three friends and our exceptional driver, Zang, was much more than a road trip. It was a journey through landscapes, cultures and a sense of space that is difficult to find in our chaotic everyday lives. Following, in part, the ancient routes of the Silk Road, we travelled through places that seemed almost suspended between borders, time and silence. And then came the moment when we meet the Gobi Desert. For me, being there had always been a dream, and that dream was right in front of my eyes. What I will remember most is the feeling of having “time free”. Time to breathe. Time to listen. Time to truly see, not simply look. In those immense landscapes, I felt transported into a dimension where space and time seemed to no longer follow the rules of ordinary life. See you soon!
