Crypto deposit never credited, refund denied (50 euro)
I attempted to buy a Terrorblade Arcana on this site using crypto, and deposited ~50 EUR in LTC to the deposit address they provided. The funds were never credited to my account. I contacted support, and after multiple support exchanges, they confirmed the money is being held by their payment provider. To release it, the payment provider demands a copy of my ID and a photo of me holding it. The site denied a refund in this situation, blamed it on me, and directed me to resolve it with their payment provider myself, a company I never chose to deal with and have no contract with. There is no legitimate reason why I should have to provide anyone any ID and picture of me for purchasing a skin worth 50 eur on a random website. This is not 5000 eur trade, money source sure, I can provide, but ID and photo of me, you must be kidding. In this scenario, I believe that the reasonable resolution would have been for them to just return my money. NOT LOCK IT to their end. That is THEFT. Edit: My suspicion is: the payment provider seems like a small, new company. It could be an alternative way to funnel money from first-time buyers, or to collect passports and IDs from anyone who actually sends them. Win-win for them either way. You get a total of two options: lose your money, or hand your identity to an unknown party. DO NOT SEND CRYPTO TO THIS SITE, YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!!!
