An Unforgettable Journey Through Tibet
We had a wonderful eight-day trip with our guide, Dickey, and our driver, Topgyal. Dickey explained everything clearly and in detail. Whenever we had trouble understanding something in English, she would explain it again in Chinese. She was always happy to answer our questions and help us. Both Dickey and Topgyal were friendly, funny, and great at handling unexpected situations. Their humour made the trip even more enjoyable. Through our conversations with them, we also learned a lot about Tibetan daily life, customs, and culture. We were especially lucky to see the recently held Semo Chenmo Cham Festival, which was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight. This was our first visit to Tibet, and it left a deep impression on us. Eight days only allowed us to scratch the surface, so we hope to return and explore more. Thanks to the travel agency for putting together such a wonderful group. The scenery was beautiful, but our fellow travellers made the journey even more special.
