From a Failed K7 Plus to a Great K8 Plus Experience
My original K7 Plus unexpectedly stopped powering on. At first, the replacement process was a little frustrating, but GMKtec ultimately worked with me and replaced it with a K8 Plus. My first impressions of the K8 Plus have been excellent. Setup was easy, the system feels extremely responsive, and one of the first things that surprised me was how quiet it is. During the time I’ve tested it so far, I honestly haven’t even heard the fan come on once. I still want to spend more time testing it with Studio One, DaVinci Resolve, and my software development environment, but so far my experience with the K8 Plus has been very positive. Things can go wrong with any piece of technology. What matters is how a company handles it when something does go wrong. Thank you to the GMKtec support team for working with me and making things right. That goes a long way toward earning a customer’s trust. I also plan to come back and update this review after I’ve spent more time with the K8 Plus, especially with Studio One, DaVinci Resolve, and my software development workflow, so I can give a more in-depth long-term performance review. forgot to mention... the fast 48-hour delivery lol
