Terrible tool ever
I tried DeeVid AI for a very basic use case: turning still images into short 4–5 second videos. The experience has been extremely disappointing. The biggest problem is the combination of unreliable output quality and an absurdly expensive token system. My plan gives me only 128 tokens per month, while a single generation costs 20 tokens. That means you get roughly six attempts for an entire month. For a generative AI tool where trial and error is unavoidable, that is terrible value. What makes it worse is that many of those expensive generations were completely unusable. DeeVid repeatedly destroyed text that already existed in the source image. Simple Vietnamese text such as “3 BUỔI/TUẦN – NHANH HƠN NHƯNG NẶNG HƠN” was turned into meaningless, misspelled gibberish. It did the same thing to text on books, boards, posters, mugs, and other background objects. Even when the prompt specifically says to preserve the original image, the system may still alter faces, hands, eyes, background details, or typography. The results are simply not reliable enough for marketing or professional content. The most frustrating part is that you still lose the full 20 tokens when the AI produces a broken result. There should at least be a refund system for obviously failed generations, a cheap preview mode, or low-resolution test renders before charging the full amount. I started with 128 tokens and dropped to 68 after only a few attempts, without getting a single video I could actually use. For me, DeeVid currently feels less like paying for usable AI video generation and more like paying 20 tokens every time you discover another way the model can fail. 128 tokens/month + 20 tokens per generation + highly inconsistent results is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend DeeVid AI for anyone who needs consistent characters, preserved text, or reliable professional video output.
