Buyer aware. Charge 10% restocking fee
Update: JOVS offered 70% refund of the 6D Laser and EMS mask and keep the item in exchange of me removing my review. Laser masks are not suitable for melasma, which isn't stated on their website, so it's not fit for purpose and not a "change of mind". They probably do this often to avoid negative reviews. I would expect they would have more negative reviews than what is displayed. I also ordered the Red light EMS belt and EMS shorts. Review on belt: strong but none of the programs have a constant long pulse pattern. The closest, is a few short pulses followed by a few long pulses. The battery also lasted 2 sessions on a full charge. Review in the EMS shorts: as others say, it's hard to align the electrodes to the right area. One glute contracts more than the other side. It doesn't seem strong like the belt. On my first session, I used level 6 out of the highest level 8. Second session, I used the maximum level of 8. If I want it stronger, there is no higher level. I feel that it this is gimmicky. The pelvic floor doesn't get targeted, only the external muscles. I can still can contract my kegels, so I know it's not working my pelvic floor. I feel that the pelvic floor function is a gimmick and you need to do kegel exercises. Overall, the shorts are gimmicky and I recommend saving your money, do kegel exercises and glute exercises such as hip thrusts and RDLs. __________________________________ Buyer aware: if you want to return an item, JOVS deducted a 10% "restocking fee" only if the package is unopened. If you open the package, JOVS deduct 20% off the purchase price. To charge a 10% "restocking fee" is unconscionable and unreasonable. Sounds dodgy and scammy. I placed an order and recieved a confirmation for 2 items when I only intended to purchase one item. I emailed JOVS to cancel the item and they said that it was already in transit and I would need iniate a returns. However, their returns policy states that they deduct a 10% "restocking fee". I hadn't even received that item at that stage and JOVS is telling me they won't issue a full refund. I have had to lodge a dispute with my bank. JOVS tried to offer me 30% refund if I keep the item. I asked for a redund again. Then they offerred me 50% refund to keep the item. Does this mean that they mark up the price so much that they can afford to offer 50% discount on their products? Something to consider before you purchase through these rip off merchants.
