I taught for over ten years before…
I taught for over ten years before eventually stepping away from the classroom. Teaching is a profession I have always loved, but over time, I became disillusioned by some of the realities of the profession, particularly the limited opportunities for teachers to grow and be adequately rewarded for their work. I eventually decided to pursue other opportunities. My journey into ESL is now helping me find my way back to something I genuinely enjoy. Taking this course through Teacher Record has been a valuable part of that journey. It has helped me refresh my understanding of effective teaching, classroom management, and student engagement, while also giving me an opportunity to reflect on the kind of teacher I want to be. I found the course practical, relevant, and easy to apply. More importantly, it has renewed my confidence and reminded me why I became a teacher in the first place. I am looking forward to building this next chapter in teaching through ESL, and Teacher Record has been a useful starting point.
