Excellent after-service
I first came across Wattcycle LiFePO4 batteries on Will Prowse Youtube channel and purchased a 12v200AH unit thru ebay. It sat around for a long time while I was getting my act together but I did check on it occasionally and made sure the voltage did not drop below 13v. Finally I connected it to the solar panels/controller and it worked flawlessly for a few weeks. Then it gave up the ghost abruptly with voltage showing 0. I did not think it was the cells so the culprit was likely to be the Battery Management System (BMS). I contacted Wattcycle for help and got a response from 'Jennifer' of their service department who was very helpful guiding me thru the process of reviving the battery. The advice was essentially 'Stop panicking - it will correct itself upon recharging'. I reconnected the battery to controller and was relieved to get a reading of 12v straight away and this rose to 13v23 within hours. So problem solved without any drama. I am a happy customer sharing my experience with any potential buyer. Wattcycle provides excellent after-service. Looking back I should have purchased a 24v100AH battery to connect to inverter but I can live with the current unit.
