terrible manufacturing of product
Picked up my bookcase on 7/15/26. It was packaged well, could not fully inspect. When I removed the packaging, there were multiple places where there were flaws in the wood that the manufacturer tried to putty over and cover with stain and did a terrible job. They are front and center and stand out from over 20' away. Not sure if the store inspects it before wrapping up for delivering/loading. In response to RC Willey's reply. I fully understand that the item is to look "aged". That is what I wanted. That is not how this itemed looked. It looked damaged, poorly repaired, and the repair showed through the finish. Not acceptable. I sent pictures, obviously the person replying did not look at them. Now on top of that, RC Willey has yet to credit my card, and the rep I was dealing with has not answered my emails. Called the store today (8/1), got an excuse there was an issue and that they need to contact "corporate", could take an additional 7 days. So at first my issue was mainly with the manufacturer, now it is both them and the store.
