Broken Egg
If you're thinking about getting a credit card through Best Egg, do yourself a favor and walk away. This has been one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with. Their online account management is a joke. If you have a problem with your login, recovering your username or password is a nightmare. Need help? Good luck. You can call the number they provide and end up listening to silence because nobody seems to answer the damn phone. Meanwhile, if you can't get through to make a payment, the balance keeps climbing, fees and interest continue piling on, and your credit takes the hit. It's beyond infuriating to be penalized because a company makes it nearly impossible to get assistance. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Best Egg to anyone. There are plenty of companies that actually answer the phone, provide functional online account management, and treat their customers with basic respect. This one didn't. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
