We booked the Wind Dancer tour 7:00am. Our Pilot was Ben. He was an excellent pilot, professional and knowledgeable. As we flew, he pointed out all the spots of interest and he also enjoyed listen to a music compilation of really good songs. I don’t know if he made up the playlist but it was awesome! I would definitely recommend the early flight as the temperature outside reached over 110 degrees. The helicopter seats 7 and based on weight some passengers flew up front with him. After we descend into the Grand Canyon, he switched up the seat assignment making it fair and enjoyable for everyone. We were lucky to have great travel mates aboard our helicopter which just added to the fun of the tour. Maverick Helicopter Tours is A+ company, their helicopter was nice looking and their headsets were good and working properly. We had the most amazing time and a bucket list and life time memory I shared with my adult children. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely do another tour at any one of their locations. I’m from Jersey and not easy to please, but I was definitely impressed and beyond satisfied.
