I've been using Ahrefs for quite a while now. While I use some other SEO tools besides it, Ahrefs remains the go-to app for whatever I need: keyword research, audits, backlink research and so on. Their blog is also top notch.
Most useful tool for Marketing. A little expensive, but without ahrefs it's very difficult to plan your SEO & SEM campaigns.

Undoubtedly, I confirm Ahrefs is the SEO Market Leader. If looking for Complete Digital Marketing Suite, then SEMRush may be a close competitor, but for SEO nothing matches Ahrefs tool
Abysmal customer service, payment processor that doesn't work. They will make you email FastSpring (this bit is just unbelievable to be honest), if you're at this stage, don't waste time. It doesn't get better. After 2 days of drama, calling my bank, emailing FastSpring. I came to realise that it doesn't matter if their core product is good because if you need to speak to someone, they're not helpful. Imagine if you have to get a refund or something. Stick with semrush or whatever other provider you can find if you want to get the job done.
They charged my card $7 for the trial, yet they haven't activated my account. No email with logins or any way to access the platform. Terrible registration to login journey. Absolute RUBBISH platform... I'm using SEMrush instead, it's 10x better!!
It's pretty good. Love the helpful content and intuitive UI. Since I have also used SEMRush before, it's natural that I feel some of the features are missing. For example, the ability to see all the display ads.
They do not let me create a trial account. I want to see it before using the first time. It's showing your payment method is risky?
Please consider changing Fastspring away. Fastspring is the worst. I wanted to try Ahrefs trial and it blocks me from making payment. In short, I contacted Ahrefs and they told me I had triggered payment risk??? I was asked to approach Fastspring as there's nothing they can do. Fastspring is unable to assist me with my issue as well. Look, none of us are here to scam your money but INSTEAD, we consumers are more afraid to pay for something via online. My card and paypal are both personal, and both methods have been used to do online global transaction and I had checked with my bank too. I did go back to Ahrefs support after Fastspring's unhelpful response. And all Ahrefs gave a list of free seo tools alternatives I could use and will keep me in the loop of my issue. Basically, "It means the issue will be put aside." Also, unfortunately, the tools are not useful to what I am looking for and wanting to try (That's the reason I was looking forward to sign up for the trial). I have found out that this payment gateway problem (basically Fastspring) is a known issue since a long time back. Seriously, I wasted near to 5 days and it is still unresolved.
Tried to signup for their services, got an error message telling me to contact their support. I did it, and their support was unhelpful, telling me there was an issue with the payment and to contact another company, FastSpring. Why do I have to make even more effort to purchase their services? Anyway, I did contact FastSpring, but they basically told me that they don't have control over their automated anti-fraud system. So I cannot purchase ahrefs' services. Why? Because I'm using a US bank account/card while in another country, which flagged a few of their automated anti-fraud system. We are in 2021, we have people constantly traveling, even during the pandemic, we have expats, we have digital nomads, etc... this is a ridiculous reason. When this happens to other companies, like hellobonsai.com, for example, their support team can double-check whatever they want with the user, then whitelist the user themselves. Not requiring even more effort from the user in order to be able to give money to the company.
I've been using Ahrefs for 5+ years now and it's one of the few services I've never had any regrets about. Been using this while at an agency, when I've been working inhouse and now while running my own e-com store. To 5+ more years!
Caution with fraud They say trial version only costs $ 7. Then secretly book over $ 100. There was no hint nowhere to be read.
Great tool. Still working out the differences between this and SEMrush but overall seems very solid.

Great product. Definitely one of the best in the industry. But for a small business, the price is a bit too expensive. I highly recommend that Ahrefs should have a junior or basic account for a lower price. As a side note, the user interface is dated...
As a SEO Freelancer this Tool is one of my favourites. I use it on a daily Basis from Keyword analysis to seo audits and more.
This is not a cure for a poor website, but rather a tool that reveals the weakness. You have to do the job and ahrefs show the direction
rude customer service agent, said i had paid for ahrefs trial before . i did not! ever, refunded my 7 dollars . i feel quite upset about this ive done nothing wrong.
Every great thing has a price. This is the tool for SEO. That's it. Fix the error the app shows you and you are good to go. The only bad thing is the price. Worth it? If you are running a big website, yes. If you are a small one, focus on your content and use "Screaming Frog" instead of it.
