Ahrefs has worked great until recently, but during August-September 2020 there have been so many bugs and issues that I've lost count of them.
Worst part is that they're not the slightest proactive about these issues, they don't address them publicly, they never make any statements, and surely they never compensate their paying customers for the inconveniences either.
I've tried raising this issue multiple times with their customer support, but all they do is apologize and promising it will be fixed within 24 hours, but then a new issue appears and the process starts over again. And if an issue arises on a Friday, well that's too bad because nothing happens until the following Monday.
This is beyond unacceptable, I have no words to describe how badly they're handling these issues.
HOWEVER, despite all these issues they did allocate time and resources to develop a completely new profit model for themselves, as described in one of their recent blog posts.
Bad app nowadays. It does not work as it used to. Keywords rarely update anymore and support is talking nonsense that their backend isn't fully transferred or whatever but refuses to answer when it will be fixed. Broken for weeks while we are paying a subscription service that does not work.
The absolute best site when it comes to tracking backlinks, optimizing SEO, doing keyword and content analysis.
The only drawback is the pricing which is higher than all other competitors, but I guess good things don't come for cheap
MISLEADING AND UNTRUSTWORTHY
Their trial is advertised as 7 days but actaully noone is given a 7 day full trial. It is cut sometime after the start of the 6th day.
If this company has to lie about their trial, how reliable is their information?

In my opinion, the number one tool for backlink analysis. No other tool shows so much backlink data and I've used Moz, SEMRush and SEO Powersuite. However, the volumes and other metrics for keyword research can be a little off at times, especially when the volume is to the lower side.
Ahrefs I've compared with some other SEO tools. Yes, Ahrefs is very extensive. But the keyword difficulty is not accurate.
For many and many keywords he indicates that it is easy to rank in the top 10. But I'm 1000% sure it isn't. And also other tools showed me that I was right. So the keyword tool is far from accurate.
I also discovered that the volume isn't accurate
The keywords aren't much special, either. For certain keywords I don't get any suggestions, while other tools indicate a lot of ideas.
I had a trial account of 7 days. For me at day 1 everything was clear. I requested a refund of 6 days, but that wasn't possible.
Ahrefs is really overpriced.
Great tools, limited technical support and sense of urgency.
All in all the tools have been VERY helpful. We are a new user to ahrefs and are using one of the paid subscription options. 1 week into using the tools, the site audit tool locked up when I tried to stop the audit. It has been locked up at 0 URLs crawled for 49 minutes so far. Tech support responded, "40 minutes is not that critical, I believe... please give it some more time
if the crawl is not complete within the next several hours, let us know"
So, I am done for the day analyzing our new web launch and SEO metrics.

They have the huge data.

The only thing is KD is not trustworthy at all and pricing is little bit higher (but that's okay compared to what they are offering)

I think Ahrefs deserve a fair review like mine:) Using it for content marketing a LOT! Keyword search and SEO becomes whole lot easier with tools like Ahrefs
