Didn't receive my shipment, 4 months after payment. Support refuses to send money back. Be careful!
Customer support is abysmal. My X4 Plus S1 has been completely dead for 5 weeks. I receive completely unhelpful responses every 3-4 days. They have sent me zero parts, or replacement (printer is 2 months old). They have asked me to fill out the exact same form 3 times. They want the user to do all of the work. They wanted me to reflash the EMMC chip, which requires a special usb adapter, nwhich they didn't send me. Then they told me I need a new mainboard, And after a week of no responses, they asked me to fill out the excel form AGAIN. They also expect me to replace the mainboard myself. The case specifically says if I open it, my warranty is void. And ALL of the connectors to the board are GLUED.
Bought a m1 pro s1 because I wanted a printer with the wifi option. The printer arrived but didn't work with the wifi. I have send an email to support. They answer in 1 sentence not providing a good answer. I've followed the instructions but I still doesn't work. I've written again today 03.03.26 because they don't answer me. I would like a full refund since my printer doesn't work and the support I have gotten don't work either
Friendly customer service, but not useful. They ask to repair the product yourself, meanwhile it gets further damaged due to doing your own (unqualified) repair.
I got a fast response to my support ticket and problem was fixed in 24h. Thank you!
Very poor quality product, and miserable tech support. Just keeps on asking you to adjust this and that. Even though same error occurs.
Support service is a scam. After 5 monts the extruder stopped working. Official support service told me to disasemble the extruder, several cables and parts to find out the issue and I done all following their instructions with no success. Then they denied any waranty cover and send me a link to buy some parts in Aliexpress (it's not a joke), besides it doesn't belong to an official store of Artillery (still not a joke). So I've ended with a 3D printer partially disassembled and not working.
Worst Customer service ever, just make fun of the customers, useless reply just to lose time until you lose the patience ant throw their product in the trush, where they deserve. Never buy their product again.
Introduction: Artillery 3D has made a name for itself in the 3D printing world with its seemingly innovative products like the Artillery Sidewinder X1. While the printer's specifications might look appealing on paper, real-world user experiences paint a very different picture. My personal experience highlights severe issues with product reliability and deplorable customer service. Overview: The Artillery Sidewinder X1 is marketed as a large-format 3D printer suitable for both hobbyists and professionals. However, the reality is marred by persistent technical failures and an unresponsive customer service team that fails to support its users adequately. Instead of providing timely and effective solutions, the company often leaves its customers in the lurch, expecting them to undertake highly technical fixes on their own. Key Features: Large Build Volume: Claimed to be perfect for bigger models, but often plagued with mechanical issues. Direct Drive Extruder: Intended for flexible filament printing, yet frequently malfunctions. Synchronized Dual Z System: Supposed to ensure stability, but reliability is questionable. Touch Screen Interface: User-friendly design undermined by frequent errors and crashes. Pros: Affordable Price: The only upside, which quickly becomes irrelevant due to numerous issues. Cons: Abysmal Customer Support: Extensive delays and unhelpful responses are the norm. The support team is more focused on avoiding refunds than solving problems. Frequent Technical Issues: Common problems include the y-axis build plate not moving and persistent error messages like "printer halted. kill() called!" which render the printer useless. Demanding DIY Fixes: The company expects users to perform complex repairs themselves, which is unreasonable for most consumers. Unfair Refund Policies: Even after attempting all suggested fixes, users are often told the refund period has expired, leaving them with a defective product. Who Should Buy This Product: Frankly, no one. The Artillery Sidewinder X1 and other products from this company are not worth the headache. The technical issues and lack of reliable support make it a poor investment for both hobbyists and professionals. Comparison With Similar Products: Compared to the Creality CR-10 V3, the Sidewinder X1 is a nightmare. While Creality also offers affordable 3D printers, they at least back their products with better customer service and an active online community for support. Artillery's printers, on the other hand, are a gamble with very little chance of paying off. Conclusion and Call to Action: Do not waste your money on Artillery 3D printers. The impressive specifications are overshadowed by frequent malfunctions and a customer service team that fails to provide adequate support. If you are looking for a reliable 3D printer, consider alternatives with better reputations for customer care and product reliability. For the latest prices and reviews, steer clear of the Artillery Sidewinder X1 and look for more dependable options.
We have now purchase 4 3D printers from Artillery, they have proven to be totally unable to communicate, satisfy and deliver an even average level of customer service/product. We had issues with both the x3 Pro and Plus, we paid extra to return a X3 Plus that simply didn't function properly and upgraded to X4 (2 of them) which to date seem to be consistently working properly, but I have no faith in Artillery or their product line long term. We had to order replacement parts on Brand NEW machines to keep them working properly. We are nice by leaving 2 stars, and this is only because to date our 2 X4's have been working properly. As us in the 3D community realize, Customer Service along with a fine product is the key, Artillery is not the company for that. Have been happy with Creality printers and are going to get Creality's newest model and Prusa's MK4, as both of those companies have both nice products and excellent service. DO NOT BUY ARTILLERY, unless you like cheap, lack of care, communication and below average. You get what you pay for should be their mission statement.
Useless customer service! They don't help with the printer technical issue which has been explained clearly but ask the reciept and pictures. Then I provided them what they asked for and never hear back from them!
Problems with the printer (Sidewinder X3 Pro) and terrible customer support
purchased an Artillery X3 Plus from Banggood. After a couple of days the X axis started to fail and it was no longer possible to print. Artillery support offered me a new engine. It never arrived. In the meantime I bought a new one but the problem is not the engine and assistance no longer responds. Very bad experience
Looks like I may have made two mistakes: 1. I bought from banggood.com and 2. I bought an Artillery Sidewinder X2 3D printer. The printer arrived in the UK from Germany, but was advertised on banggood.com as being sent from the UK. The printer was assembled with care and worked fine for 8 hours, then all of a sudden the Z-Axis gantry stopped working, emitting a grinding sound and wouldn't respond to the touchscreen correctly. I contacted banggood.com who told me to contact Artillery, which I did. Artillery responded with what looked like a copied and pasted response to the exact problem I have, telling me to swap stepper motors. Firstly, I want to emphasize, this is a BRAND NEW machine, with only 8 hours of use. Secondly, by attempting any repairs myself, I would invalidate the warranty sticker on the underside of the machine. I know 3D printers require a lot of tinkering, but to fail after just 8 hours is unacceptable. The machine should be replaced, but having now read these other reviews, I can see that is unlikely to happen without consumer rights legal intervention, which I am looking into now, pre-empting the likely struggle ahead.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY…YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!! I recently ordered a Sidewinder X2 from them, but changed my mind the next day and decided to cancel my order. Per their company policy, I was within my rights to cancel the order and receive a refund, but when I emailed them, a sales rep lied to me and told me it was against company policy (I have the email conversation and company policy both documented and saved) and refused to cancel the order. So when I received the printer, it was immediately defective out of the box and would not work. I immediately submitted a repair ticket on Artillery’s website and started emailing and messaging them. I received a vague response from them a couple days later asking me for a proof of purchase and serial number, which I sent back to them again. It has been two weeks now and I have not received any response or attempt from them to resolve the issue or fix the printer. Companies like this should not be allowed to exist when all they do is prey on customers, make empty promises and guarantees, take your money and send you junk products. I strongly regret ever buying anything from Artillery 3D, and I would suggest everyone else avoid them at all cost. Their products are of subpar quality and their customer service is nonexistent, so don’t risk losing your money like I did. Please learn from my mistake.
ARTILLERY SIDEWINDER X2 I have 3 machines of the same model, run very well. but all 3 machines have had a defective glass plate, I have written to support and they won't take my receipt from the store where I bought it I now have 3 machines with defective bed glass breaking off I would not recommend anyone to buy this model, they give too many worries and bad customer service
Don´t buy anything from Artillery! I have seen many test who say their produckts will be very good, and perhapps they are. But I don´t know it, I have buy a printer (Sidewinder X2), but it don´t work. So I write an E-Mail to their support. The first failure we find out fast, the x-Endswitch was broken, So the service tell me they can send me one, but it will need to be by me up to a month! So I buy it myself. But it was not the only failure at the maschine now it don´t heat up. So they tell me, they can send me some parts where the failure could be, but not all parts where the failure could be! And it need again up to a month where the parts will be by me. I tell them that is not OK, they should send me all parts at once so that it will work after this time and not send part by part and I have to wait everytime a month to get the next part. At this time they told me, I can send it to their Service Point in Germany to repair it. I say OK, but now trouble again, they are not able toi send a shipping label! Now I wait over a week to get it, and all what happend is an answer where they write, the shipping lable will be come soon. This all need now several weeks and there is no end in sight. For me it looks like, they do it so long, that I pay all what need to repair this mashine by myself and repair it also by myself. And this by a new mashine who never had work, I could not make any prints with it. And if you ask to get a new working mashine, they only answer, sorry we could not send a new one.
