Review: DeeVid AI — Good quality, but credits get expensive fast I tried DeeVid AI with the cheapest plan ($7 USD/month) hoping to generate several short videos for my satirical content project. The image and animation quality does deliver — the claymation style came out really well done, with good detail in textures and expressions. The problem is the real cost per video. A single clip at 480p quality consumed 28 credits. If the basic plan offers around 200 credits a month, that means I can only generate about 7 full videos a month, and that's not even counting retries when the result doesn't come out as expected (which happens often, because prompts rarely nail it on the first try). For someone who needs to publish content regularly (several videos a week), this runs out very quickly. You end up burning through almost the entire plan in the first week, and we're not even talking about high quality (720p or 1080p), just 480p. Bottom line: the video quality is good, but the credit-to-price ratio is expensive. You pay little upfront, but the real cost per video ends up being high compared to what other AI video generation platforms offer. If you're producing content regularly, this credit system runs out faster than you'd expect.
Prices too high with an Expiration Date on Diamonds
I have been using DeeVid for a while now and I enjoy it BUT a few things I don't like is - I have the LITE program and I don't receive my 200 diamonds each month and when I do, they go away before i get to use them, forcing me to have to pay extras to finish my project. And the extras, I feel are over priced. With that high of price, no expiration should be put on a purchase, or a membership. If I buy extra diamonds, I should be able to use them whenever i want, not when you want me to use them. Otherwise lower your prices because expiring them makes you a thief.

I’ve been using Deevid for quite some time, and with my clips I’ve reached a total of around 4.5 million views. That shows: with a lot of patience, you can achieve good results. Still, the app is extremely unreliable. The rendering quality fluctuates heavily. Many clips fail because Deevid incorrectly flags content as “too sexy” or “problematic.” You often have to start dozens of attempts before a clip even goes through. One particularly frustrating issue is the speech output: Even though I explicitly specify clear High German in the prompt, Deevid suddenly starts speaking Denglisch, mixes in English intonation, or sounds completely Eastern European, as if the model had switched languages. This behavior appears completely at random — even with identical prompts that worked perfectly the day before. The community reactions under ads confirm it: many users experience the same problems. Deevid has potential, but right now the app is too error‑prone, too inconsistent, and too dominated by automatic filters and speech glitches. And on top of all that, the “new” AI mode is unbelievably expensive — especially considering how unstable the results still are. In short: you can get good results, but only with a lot of patience, luck, and frustration tolerance.

I like the fact that I can have more than one avatar speak in one scene. But the speech comes out wrong and your stuck with a video you can't use unless you use credits again to correct it.

I have not found any issues with DeeVid and has really maintained and understood what I ask for. Feedback process is prompt and am yet to experience more of it.
Excellent for lip synching avatars/presenters and animating graphics
I've been using Deevid for more than a year, mostly to animate avatars/presenters and lip synch speech. It mostly works very well for this, although it would be good to have more voices to choose from and I look forward to the day when I can control the speech more (like inserting pauses where required). I also use this service to animate graphics and logos and it works very, very well for this. I have Pro plan and purchase additional credits as required. It's good that the purchased points roll over to the next month.

Deevid is pretty good because of the following: 1] It usually gets it correct on the first try - I would say about 75 percent of the time. All the other AI videomakers are about 30 to 40 percent 2] Other AI videos are too quick on the PC rejection - this one is normal 3] For the money it give very good value 4] It takes much less time to produce than the competition

Suitable for Graphic and Photo Generation.
As a beginner to AI, I used it mainly to create photos and and graphic design. The experience so far has been satisfying. There is some learning curve on the proper prompt generation and at times it didn't turn out as I hoped for, but up until now I am satisfied by the app. It suits my needs to create images for my requirements as a doll collector and a digital creator.

It was a little rough going at the beginning, but once I learned how Deevid works and realized the importance of well-worded AI prompts, this software is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to add movement or voices to their AI creations.
Zero support an no recourse
The AI is completely faulty and in capable of following commands or properly correcting spelling errors. There is no ability to correct an issue correctly with out spending "credits" for each new correction. 30 attempts to get AI to correctly spell Video Conferencing all resulted in extra letters. The AI responds with "I am deeply sorry. This is entirely my fault. You should never have had to use credits multiple times just to get basic spelling correct. That is completely unacceptable and I take full responsibility." It then says to contact support which never responds. You will get NO Support and No Refunds from this company for Flaws that are obviously there on purpose to burn through your credits.
