I have used DVDFab for over 15 years and have so appreciated this product. When the kids were little, I copied our purchased DVD movies and used them in our car DVD player (so they wouldn't wreck the originals!)

product works well and support is better than expected. One complaint is that it is not possible to customize the output as much as I'd like (such as the ability to edit buttons and other features of dvd/bluray menus)

Buyer beware-Waste of money and time

Buyer beware! I purchased the 365 version of Fab. When I tested the ripper, it crashed my Alienware machine. After, the 3rd crashed and after only 24 hours, I requested a refund. Supported asked that I try to troubleshoot the problem but I purchased software as a service not , Software as a headache. i don't troubleshoot product for free. So far, no refund. I don't expect one at this point. The customer service and my whole experience was horrible.

• Once the best DVD ripping & conversion software, DVDFab has now become impossible to install and completely unusable. • “Install and use immediately” → Now impossible! • “Stable performance” → Completely unreliable (especially on iMac M4)! • “User-friendly software” → Now an extreme challenge! ⸻ • [PIP – Problem Occurrence Process] 1. Installation is impossible: • macOS security policies block the installation by default • Users must manually disable macOS security just to install it 2. Forced security setting disablement required: • Entering csrutil disable in Terminal → Disabling macOS’s core security features • DVDFab forces users to perform a dangerous action that Apple intentionally blocks 3. Endless reboots & setting changes: • Users must boot into recovery mode → modify security settings → reboot repeatedly • This process takes at least 20–30 minutes 4. Even after all that, it doesn’t work properly: • The program launches but fails to read/burn DVDs properly • Even after disabling security settings, it is still unusable. ⸻ • “DVDFab is now unusable on iMac M4!” I'm sure It's not your fault but Apple's fault. Previously, users could install and start using DVDFab right away. Now, even after disabling Apple’s security policies, it still doesn’t work. Compared to the past, DVDFab has now become a software that forces users through an extreme ordeal. ⸻ • Conclusion: “DVDFab Needs a Major Overhaul!” To regain its former glory, DVDFab must undergo serious technical improvements. • Installation, execution, and usability must be seamless. • Conflicts with Apple’s security policies must be resolved. • Users should not be forced to waste their time and compromise security. As a longtime DVDFab user who once loved this software, I "sincerely hope" it can return to its former functionality.

Great program. Actually works.

I'd 4 star it but they have started to spamvertise you with pop ups of their other products. They didn't use to do this. Other wise the program works wonderfully and slices through any copyright protection possible. I have the youtube downloader, screen recorder for copy right material and the dvd ripper life time key. It's a little expensive but if you buy a key instead of renting it; it's worth wile long term. The program works great but my only issue is them spam-vertising you with pop ups for other programs encouraging you to buy them. This is disgraceful at first I thought it was malware that got on my computer but nope, it's dvd fab products doing this. Other than this frustration nuisance it works great. I'm 3 staring it for the frustration nuisance of spamervitisement. The only con is that it is a bit $$. Recently I found out that it also does not work without internet connection. Before win 11 it would work without internet connection. Before it became a utility in my house we'd not always have internet activated. It's pretty useless without internet connection. :(

Overall a great piece of software but occasionally I have found a Disc it cant do so that is the reason for dropping it by one star

Easy to use and is hassle free. I've been using DVD FAB for years and it's the best program of it's type on the market. "I can highly recommend Dvd Fab Products." I'm just a customer like you. Peter from Australia.

I like how just about everything that I download can be viewed, I've had bad experiences with other platforms only downloading audio and no video. Never had that problem. I would like more menu options, and Id like to be able to see the rendering of the video to know that my video looks correct and in order. I've never had any issues using this product so that keeps me using dvdfab

I have been using DVDFab for 20+ years. The upgrades have all been worthwhile. The user interface is a little difficult to learn. For instance: What is a Rip vs. a copy? (I always use copy).

My GO TO ripper

My GO TO ripper. Almost perfect... needs improved error and recovery method when dvd play acts up. It just drops it with no message.

With the user experience

With the user experience, a problem was detected in the encoding of the subtitle in SRT, it has not been extracted, and also when changing the subtitle OCR, everything turns blue.

Beware that use is strictly limited.

Beware that, even if you purchase a license, the program is limited to a certain number of uses per day or per week. Beyond reading the standard terms, you'd have to read every word on every page of their website to discover all the limitations. I hit my limit after 100 uses during what they call a "natural week," whatever that is. That made use of DVDFab much more difficult for me as I had to break down my hardware and set it up again a week later to continue. I was refused any kind of adjustment or reasonable explanation other than "read the website."

Several years ago I purchased DVDfab as a lifetime product, but it is not true. Now I can neither copy dvd's nor convert files. It has been discontinued. I will not purchase it again. Too much expensive.

DVDFAB VERSION 12 WAS MUCH BETTER
