Excellent wheels – very happy with my Helix Drive
I bought a set of Elitewheels Helix Drive for my Quick Pro AR One and have been very impressed with them.
The wheels feel light and responsive, accelerate very well and maintain speed nicely once rolling. They have also been stable and confidence-inspiring when cornering and at higher speeds. The ride quality is very good and they suit the aerodynamic character of the AR One perfectly.
Build quality and finish are excellent, and they have also transformed the overall look of the bike.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The Helix Drive offers an excellent combination of performance, weight, aerodynamics and ride quality, especially considering the price. I would happily recommend Elitewheels based on my experience.

Hi Daw,
Thank you for your fantastic review of the Drive 2 65D wheelset!
We are delighted you love the smooth rolling performance and great stiffness. It means a lot that you rate our wheels among the best in this price range.
Warm greetings to Poland! Enjoy all your rides.
These are really excellent wheels, especially considering the price, weight, reliability, and serviceability. In my opinion, they are some of the best wheels available today.
I rode them during the first half of the season, and almost every race was extremely muddy. Despite the conditions, the wheels held up perfectly. I didn’t even need to regrease the bearings — the sealing is that good.
The wheel build is also excellent. The spokes have maintained their tension over time, and there has been no need for truing or any signs of the wheels developing a wobble. The tubeless rim tape is applied very well, and sealant does not seep underneath it.
The wheels meet their claimed specifications and have performed exactly as expected.
If I ever need another wheelset, I would choose the Gnar XC again without hesitation. If you weigh around 70 kg, I would definitely recommend them. The 28/28 spoke configuration is exactly what you need.

Hi Evgeny,
Thank you for this comprehensive review of the Gnar XC wheels!
We’re incredibly pleased that the wheels performed flawlessly in muddy race conditions. It’s fantastic to hear the effective sealing protects the bearings, spokes keep consistent tension, and the tubeless rim tape works perfectly.
We really appreciate your recognition of our claimed specifications and build quality. We are honoured that you would pick Gnar XC again without hesitation.
Enjoy all your upcoming races and trails!

Great wheels, I have already bought two sets for my rim brake bikes. Stiff, sold, almost bomb-proof and they roll very fast, just make sure not to use the standard brake pads, those can ruin your brake surface in one ride.
Elitewheels 回复2026-08-03
Hi j romero,
Thank you so much for your support and purchasing two sets for your rim brake bikes!
We really appreciate you sharing the tip about brake pads, this reminder will help many other riders avoid rim damage.

On my third Elite wheelset now and still very pleased.
For the first time, with my new Drive II 65 wheelset, I had an issue with a small amount of lateral play in the front wheel. Elite (Martin) immediately sent both bearings and new end caps + reimbursed the bill to the bike mechanic for putting in the bearings.
Super quality! A+ service!

I've bought 2 sets of drive 2 wheels (Black and Gold). These wheels are fantastic! Incredibly responsive, amazingly light and you can feel the power being transformed through them easily!
I prefer the look of the gold version on my bike as it matches the design of my frame.
I am very satisfied with my wheels and for dealing with Elitewheels.
Very good value for money, high quality and the customer service is probably one of the best experiences I've ever had!
They were writing emails to me during/after the shipping process just to make sure everything is ok.
Great job Elitewheels and special thanks to Sunny whom I was corresponding with during the shipping process.

Got my 2nd pair of wheels (the Drive SL 48D SS) from Elite. First wheels were the Elite Marvel II 65Ds. Both of them have been superb with no issues at all using them. Tires were a bit tight to get on but once had zero issues. The wheels arrived true and box and accessories were premium quality and properly packed.
Riding the wheels they are the perfect amount of stiff but compliant. They feel perfect for riding hard but also the steady cafe days. They corner well and ive raced them in multiple triathlons.
Dealing with Elite was super easy and their support staff is great and speak english well.
Elitewheels 回复2026-07-17

We also appreciate your kind feedback on our smooth ordering process and English-speaking support team. Enjoy every ride!
