Customers frequently praise the exceptional build quality and premium materials, noting that the carbon wheelsets are remarkably lightweight, incredibly stiff, and provide a noticeable improvement in overall bike performance, acceleration, and speed. Additionally, people consistently appreciate the responsive customer support team, helpful pre-purchase advice, and impressively fast shipping times across various international locations.
Some people were dissatisfied with occasional shipping delays and unexpected costs related to product returns or part replacements. Some reviewers mentioned that the delivery process took a few weeks longer than anticipated, requiring extra patience from international buyers.
I have now driven about 1000 km. on my Elite Drive II. 0 problems so far.
I have set them up tubeless with Conti 5000S TR 30mm. The Conti tires were a bit demanding to put on the rim, however.
I am super satisfied with the wheelset, great sound in the freewheel. And just as important, they look good on my bike.
Looking forward to getting down and testing them in the mountains.

Hi Claus,
Thanks for your feedback!
Glad your Drive II wheels run flawlessly after 1000km. You love their performance, freewheel sound and stylish look. Enjoy your mountain rides!
Happy riding!
I have a pair of DII50 drives that I’m extremely happy with. They’re stiff, very responsive, and reliable. Note that the freehub body is very noisy. Their weight makes them pleasant to ride on climbs. When there’s wind or turbulence, they can easily wobble due to wind resistance and their light weight. These are perfect racing wheels, ideal for mixed terrain. I highly recommend them for their value for money.

Hi Clément,
Thanks for your genuine feedback!
Glad you love your DII50 wheels—stiff, responsive and lightweight for easy climbing. We appreciate your honest notes on the hub sound and wind performance. Great value racing wheels well worth recommending!
Happy riding!
Firstly i must thank Aria at Elitewheels for being very professional and patient with my enthusiasm to get the wheels to me as soon as possible!
She kept me informed as to production progress etc
What can I say about the Elitewheels Velo 6 mk 2 wheels?
Perfection in opinion; they're maybe not the lightest in 50 mm rim depth but oh boy do they ride well. The workmanship is first class, they're is no loss of energy as the wheels just transmit power straight to the road! No lateral flex and on Continental GP 5000 30mm tyres give a great ride! I just love them and they're visually very appealing! The freewheel mechanism is quite loud but does not bother me as it serves as a warning to pedestrians.
The only thing I would like to see is the rims in say 30mm depth as I'd buy a pair too!
Keep up the great workmanship and customer care Elitewheels.

Hi Aveedub,
Thanks for your lovely review!
Glad Aria kept you well updated all the way. Our Velo 6 MK2 wheels deliver outstanding power transfer and stable riding performance, matching perfectly with 30mm tires. We love you like their sleek look and unique hub sound.
We’ll take your suggestion for shallower rims into consideration. Appreciate your full support!
Happy riding!
Great investment if you’re looking to upgrade to carbon wheels.
From start to finish Elite Wheels made the whole process easy!! I had a few questions regarding the wheels as I had opted to upgrade the hubs to Dt Swiss 350, the follow up process was on point every time. The wheels arrived super fast and undamaged and wow they are superb. I have now ridden over 300ks on many different surfaces, unbelievably fast and responsive, build quality top notch and my bike looks awesome. They say the best investment upgrade for your bike is wheels and the price I paid delivered to Western Australia was well worth my money. Would I recommend Elite Wheels??? Absolutely. 😄

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your fantastic review!
We’re thrilled you had a smooth experience upgrading to DT Swiss 350 hubs, and that your wheels arrived quickly and safely.
Great to hear they’re fast, responsive, and look awesome after 300km of riding. A worthy upgrade indeed!
Highly appreciated — enjoy every ride!
Ordered the Drive Helix 57D SS and am pleased with the experience. Initially they were on back order, which was clearly explained on the website before I put in my order. They took a few more weeks to ship than I anticipated but their support team was very responsive. These wheels look great, the gloss finish is very nice and I do like seeing the layup. I've put about 200km on these wheels so far and they feel great, Ive hit some good potholes and have gotten air off speed bumps and they show no signs of abuse. For the price, these are quality pieces.

Elite Wheels Drive 2.0. I purchased the Drive 2.0 (50front/65rear) with the rainbow decal. Understandably this took longer as it was a custom order. 300ish miles so far and my mind is blown. Stiffer, FASTER, more optimized for 30-32mm tires. For the price these are Elite.
Elitewheels 回复2026-05-14
Hi Jed,
Thanks for your great review!
Glad you love your custom Drive 2.0 wheels—stiff, fast, and perfect for 30–32mm tires. Truly unbeatable value.
Happy riding!
My new wheels are noticebly stiffer than my aluminium wheels, and around 450g lighter. The rimtape made a good seal, but i had to tighten the valves quite a bit. Also nice to have valves ship with the wheels :)
Packages arrived a bit damaged, but the wheels were perfectly straight. Nice proffesional packaging.
I had some issues with my new wheels, but customer service have been very helpful and VERY fast to reply, ensuring i was happy and satisfied.
The only negative is the long shipment time (30 days) to my adress, which for the money ive spent compared to other brands, is acceptable!
I am happy and would order again if I needed new wheels.
Elitewheels 回复2026-05-13
Hi Simon,
Thank you so much for your honest and detailed review!
We’re thrilled you can feel the huge upgrade right away — noticeably stiffer and 450g lighter than your old aluminium wheels. We’re also glad the included tubeless valves and rim tape worked well for you, and that the wheels arrived perfectly true despite minor outer package damage.
It means a lot that our S-tier customer service was quick to assist and resolve your concerns. We totally understand the longer 30-day shipping time to your location, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
We’re honoured you’re happy with your purchase and would order again. Enjoy every ride on your new wheels!
Excellent wheels and great quality.
Value for money is excellent, especially paired with the Cima bike frame.
After a few rides the stiffness and road feel are perfect.

When I first got in touch with Elitewheels before buying my wheelset, I was very impressed by the superb level of customer service offered from their customer support team. They were quick to respond and answered all my questions. I eventually ordered the Drive II 50D, and they arrived surprisingly quickly. They were neatly packaged and ready to ride right out of the box. The wheels themselves are super light (well within specs on the website), stiff, and very good looking! They come with carbon spokes, ceramic bearings, and a ratchet style hub. To offer all of that at this price point is truly awesome.

I just bought a pair of Drive 36D II wheels. The customer service after I placed my order was excellent. The customer service team responded promptly and professionally. I’m riding them now—the wheels are lightweight, extremely stiff, and accelerate sensationally. In my opinion, they offer really good value for the price.

Hello legends and super legends,
Ive bought the Marvel2, 50mm, rim brake wheelset.

They escorted me by emails, recommended me the right wheel depth, as i was in doubt to take 38 or 50mm.
Delivery was fast!
The wheels arrived by FedEx in perfect shape.

Elitewheels Helix: Unbeatable Performance for the Price
These are quite simply the best wheels I’ve ever owned. The Elitewheels Helix are incredibly light, reactive, and surprisingly aerodynamic for their profile. Thanks to the wide rim bed, my 30mm tires (with TPU tubes) at 5 bar provide a perfect balance of comfort and speed for my 75kg weight.
What truly sets them apart is the value for money. At this price point, it’s nearly impossible to find a wheelset that performs this well. Plus, it’s great to see that local distributors are now officially importing them to Italy, making support and availability much easier.
I’m so impressed that I’m already planning to buy a second, deeper-profile set with steel spokes. Highly recommended!
Elitewheels 回复2026-04-29
Hi Christian,
Thank you for this fantastic review!
We’re thrilled the Helix wheels deliver outstanding lightweight, responsive and aerodynamic performance for you. It’s wonderful to hear they offer perfect comfort and speed, along with unrivalled value for money.
Great to see official distribution in Italy improving local support, and we’re honoured you’re planning your second set.
Happy riding!
