Hi Paul, Thanks for the great feedback on your Marvel 50D wheelset! We’re stoked they deliver stiff, smooth, fast rolls—plus that perfect balance of great freehub sound and sleek looks on your bike. Happy riding!
I though for a while about purchasing wheels from China but always been hesitant. However I had heard excellent things about the Elite Drive II wheels and decided to take the plunge. I purchased a Disc and front 65D drive II wheelset, which they even supplied a large discount as a bundle! The service from them was excellent constant communication and tracking id for the shipment. The whole process took 3 weeks before I received the wheels. So pleased with this company and would definitely recommend them and the wheels.
Hi Martyn, Thanks for taking the plunge with us! We’re stoked you loved your Elite Drive II Disc and 65D wheelset bundle, the great discount, and our constant communication with tracking throughout. So glad the 3-week delivery went smoothly—and thanks for the recommendation! Happy riding!
My rim burst because I’d pumped the tyre up slightly above the maximum recommended pressure. That was annoying, as it wasn’t covered by the warranty because the pressure was less than 1 bar over the limit. I then got in touch with customer service, and they were brilliant. They responded really quickly and handled the matter very fairly. I sent everything back. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a refund for the broken rim as it wasn’t covered by the warranty, but the refund for the rest was very fair. I’d like to give a special thank you to Gavin Chou – that was a perfect service. Thank you!
Hi Kai, We’re truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with the Drive G36 wheels, and that the rim broke while you were fitting the tire. This is not the standard of quality we stand for, and we understand how frustrated you must be. Please reach out to our customer service team directly—we want to look into this issue thoroughly. While we’re unable to accept image uploads here, you can share your photos with the service team to help us assess the problem and work toward a resolution. We take all feedback seriously, and we hope to make this right for you.
The wheels have been on the bike for around 4 weeks. I’m still getting used to the wider rims, the tyre shape visually led me to try too little tyre pressure but after edging it back up to 17psi front and 20 psi rear for a 72kg rider I am getting on with them. The gloss surface on mine is a bit scratchy, I think that they will show wear after a while but that does not stop me from recommending them.
Hi Martin, Thanks for sharing your 4-week ride experience with the Gnar XC wheels! We’re glad you’ve dialed in the perfect tyre pressure (17psi front, 20psi rear) for your 72kg build after the initial adjustment to the wider rims. We hear you on the gloss surface showing some scratches, but we’re stoked you still recommend them regardless. Happy riding!
I ordered the Elite Marvel 50D II and I’m very satisfied so far. The wheels look excellent and feel very well-made and functional on the road. I’ve already ridden a bit over 1,000 km with them, and the experience has been very positive. They feel fast, responsive, and stable. If anything, I would say that the limiting factor right now is not the equipment but me as a rider — I still need to improve my performance to fully take advantage of the potential these carbon wheels offer. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and appreciate the quality of your product.
Hi Tomislav, Thanks for the great feedback on your Marvel 50D II wheels! We’re stoked they look sharp, feel well-made, and have delivered fast, responsive, stable rides over 1,000 km. Love that you’re loving the quality—and that the only “limiting factor” is your own riding progress (we know you’ll crush it!). So glad you’re happy with the purchase! Happy cycling!
After a few years of riding with alloy wheels, I bought a pair of Elitewheels Drive 50D II .They made huge increase in my speed! I usually was dropped in the group ride , but now I am dropping others . I feel like I am cheating :) The wheels feel very responsive ,fast and comfortable. The customer service was great too, I needed them to arrive before my race and they made it happen . Special thanks to Sunny for looking after me when purchased these wheels
Hi Majid, Thanks for the awesome review! We’re stoked your Drive 50II wheels boosted your speed so much—going from getting dropped to dropping others is such a win, and that “cheating” feeling is the best compliment. Huge props to Sunny for making sure your wheels arrived in time for the race, too. So glad you’re loving the responsive, fast and comfortable ride! Happy riding!
I ordered the Elite Velo TT rear Disc and i’m very happy with the wheel. It also came with lots of freebies like water bottles and a pair of socks. The customer service of Elite is fantastic. All my emails and queries before and after my order were responded with thouroughly. Highly recommended product and service.
Hi Raymond, Thanks a ton for the 5-star review! We’re stoked you love your Elite Velo TT rear Disc wheel—and that you enjoyed the free water bottles and socks bonus. It means the world that our thorough pre and post-order customer service won you over too. Highly appreciate the recommendation! Happy riding!
I had an issue with a bearing in the hub of the Gnar Trail PR model. After 2,500 km of use over the course of a year, one of the internal bearings was completely shot. I’m not sure what caused this premature failure, but once I reported it to customer service, they sent me a new hub, so in that regard, their service was excellent. I had never broken a bearing before, and since I’m quite careful with maintenance, I think the bearing’s quality wasn’t adequate for the intended use. The important thing is that EliteWheels honored the warranty perfectly, and that gives me great peace of mind.
Hi Eroskar, Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re sorry your Gnar Trail PR hub bearing failed after 2,500 km, but glad we could honor the warranty with a new hub right away and give you peace of mind. We’ll take your feedback on bearing quality to heart. Happy riding!
This is truly an elite quality wheelset. The Gnar XC is well built and made a huge difference in lap/segment times on my local rides. Highly recommended.
Hi Ed, Thanks for the awesome shoutout! We’re stoked your Gnar XC wheelset delivers elite quality and shaved time off your local laps—so glad it’s made such a great difference for you. Thanks for the recommendation! Happy riding!
I received my Helix wheels and I was taken aback at how good they are. The quality is amazing and they spin like a dream, to top it off they even came with the tubeless valves already installed, first time I have seen this. Elite Wheels will are now my choice going forward.
Hi Philip, Thanks for the awesome review! We’re stoked you love your Helix wheels—amazing quality, smooth-spinning performance, and that handy pre-installed tubeless valves were a nice surprise. So glad we’ve earned your loyalty as your go-to wheel brand! Happy riding!
EliteWheels have proven themselves to be a “top tier” manufacturer of carbon fiber wheels and premium hubs. I have put their products through daily torture tests over the last several years. Let’s just say I am the proud owner of three different versions of their mountain bike wheel sets, each one for different disciplines and each one perform well beyond EliteWheels very reasonable price points. EliteWheels service after the initial sale is no less than world class. Thank you EliteWheels for your excellent products and superior customer service!

Hi Thiseas, Thanks for the great review! We’re stoked your Drive Disc wheels have been a reliable, issue-free ride for two years—and that you loved our support. Happy cycling!
The Elite Drive II wheelset has been outstanding so far. They’re incredibly fast, stiff, and responsive, especially when putting power down on climbs or accelerating out of corners. The wheels feel very direct with excellent power transfer, which makes them great for aggressive riding and climbing efforts. Another highlight is the hub sound—they sound amazing and give that satisfying, high-engagement buzz when coasting. Overall, the build quality and ride feel have been excellent. So far, I honestly have nothing but positive things to say about them. Great performance for the price and a noticeable upgrade on the road. 🚴♂️
Hi Andrey, Wow, thank you so much for that 5-star review of the Elite Drive II wheelset—this made our day! Good wheel for the money, very nice and stiff, but I have some problems with bearings the going bad after a while ,replaced them with a professional bike shop ( city bikes Pembroke pines ) and the problems continue coming back after a few weeks gets hard to spinning again specily the front wheel
