Great customer service. I purchased 2 esim cards and was unable procees the information to my phone. After contacting customer support I was given a quick reply and the support team walked me through several attempts to complete the process. eSIM purchased for Marrakech, the company know nothing they couldn’t even see if it was their eSIM I was using. Did not work! Yet It has been over two weeks and still no refund

The internet connection with the Esim for China that i cannot use it for work as planned, one moment it works and the next it does not work. Ended up using my girlfriends connection instead (from another company). Now im fighting to get my money back. Ive now written them 3 times to cancel and refund my money but every time they try to offer technical solutions, which when i try, still does not solve the problem.

The sim I purchased for £30 (GBP) to use in UAE never worked at all and was a complete waste of money. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, before speaking to one of their advisors via chat who then just put me through to a third party who wanted me to subscribe and pay to receive further assistance. I cut my losses and went to a Virgin Megastore, paid more for another eSIM but this one actually worked. I would not recommend ETravelSim

Misleading experience
Some important things to know:
1. They only show reviews they handpicked on the Website
2. There is policies they try to hide from customers
3. They even Scam you with the timestamps they use (when u started using the line etc)
4. WIFI is needed to activate the eSIM
ok:
Today at around 9:00 am I tried to use the eSIM. It was not (barely working)
When I wrote a review about this they emailed me claiming I had used up all my highspeed data for the day. I had booked an Unlimited 7 day plan.
When I told them I hadnt used my data today they changed the Time to 14:51 UTC since thats when I first used the eSIM according to them.
I activated the eSIM before 11:10 CET and PROMPTLY swichted to that Simcard only. (I know this because I had to go to a Grocery store for WIFI to activate the eSIM and checked out at 11:10 there)
The next Topic was them saying I used up my 4GB allowance of high speed data... of my unlimited plan citing "Fair Usage Policy". While this fair usage policy might be mentioned on the Website it is NOT specified what it means. They did proceed to send me a Screenshot of an FAQ where it was explained BUT I was NOT able to find this paragraph in the FAQs on their website.
Its a scam. Stay away.
I needed it because I have to rely on mobile data for a few days.
If it sounds too good to be true ... it's usually just not gonna be true.
I am yet to get the refund I have requested REPEATEDLY. Seems like they have a bot replying to emails because the replies are also very bad.
Edit: They have an FAQ linked on TOP of their website, with their quick links (at the bottom) and there is one when booking the eSIM.
I have just been informed that the information about the 4GB fair usage limit is ONLY to be found on the FAQ on the main homepage (where the fewest people are ever gonna scroll down)
You can decide yourself if this sounds like a scam to you or not!
Edit 2: I did get a Refund!
Edit 3: I have just been messaged via WhatsApp to receive the eSIM for free - and to review the experience after. Only after seeing consequences they reached out like this. When I kindly declined they wrote this comment.
1. The timestamps codes by them are genuine - in the Indian time zone. They told me it was UTC tho. And also said that I would receive new data at 3 PM UTC too.
2. Yes there is a little note about the "Fair Usage Policy". The SPECIFIC info is ONLY to be found on the front page as described above. On the other pages it only states this:
"Our eSIM plan provides unlimited data throughout the agreed-upon duration. However, the network provider may exercise their prerogative to implement a Fair Usage Policy to ensure optimal network performance for all users".
Which I personally find to be purposefully misleading towards customers
3. I did try to activate the eSIM using mobile data - when I reached out about the issues I was having I was specifically instructed to use WIFI
- went from 1 to 2 stars because they did reach out and I did get a refund

Great eSim experience and recharge was easy and effective.
On our trip to Portugal we started using our cell phone as a GPS for our driving. This worked well, but we went through our data faster than we had expected. We had used etravelsim.com for our access because it is always the best deal. Adding additional data was very simple and cost effective. We were also able to keep the same phone number they had provided us! I always recommend this service when asked.

Absolute crap, wouldn't activate automatically or manually, useless customer service.
Once I arrived in South Africa, the eSIM started to work. If customer service had advised me that activation wouldn’t work until I got into the country where it was to be used, all would’ve been good. Customer service needs some training.

This is the first eSim that really works and not a scam at all. ESims are a way to help you stay connected and a saver when you most need it. So theres is no need to use it for movies or like your home wifi as some are complaining about… I was able to stay connected with family, use navigation to get to places while on the road and find my relatives in the most crowded places.
