Hello Sharon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You are right that our refractive devices measure the correction needed for single (distance) vision only. The app will provide a near-vision ADD estimate for reading distance based on the inputted age, however, this value is not physically measured, so we cannot guarantee it is a fit-all solution (ie it may work for some, while others it may be too weak or too strong). If you have an iPhone we suggest you try our My Reader App found in the app store. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our support team.
