Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers truly love the fantastic quality of the products, noting that the keycaps, switches, and custom designs always look clear, crisp, and wonderful. People also mention that the support team and creative designers are extremely helpful, very patient, and quick to resolve any custom requests.
However, some reviewers noted that delivery and shipping times can sometimes be quite long since packages are shipped from overseas locations. A few other people also felt that they faced occasional minor issues with incorrect item colors or design alignment during their custom orders.
This is my second time working with Goblintech to make custom keycaps- this time it’s for my best friends upcoming 30th Birthday. Since I knew what to expect this time, I sent an email with a super detailed explanation of what I wanted, added color swatches, and compared elements of my last keyboard to the things I wanted copied over to this keyboard. As usual, the artist nailed it pretty much on the first try, I just have a few minor tweaks and it was ready to approve. I received the keycaps two days ago and they’re perfect. I added them to her new keyboard and I simply cannot wait to give her her new, one of a kind custom Snoopy keyboard for her 30th Birthday this October, she’s going to freak out.
Thank you Goblintech, it’s always a pleasure working with your team!
The Custom Keycaps came out amazing they feel high quality and are smooth, I haven't had any issues with them so far, one thing is you cant make your color to dark otherwise it'll be almost a black, I had a red piece and it looks almost black, but other than that these keycaps are really good.
After 1 month of using my custom keycaps, I'm confident in saying they're exactly what I wanted! Goblintechkeys was great in helping me get the custom keycaps I wanted; with my custom design and a custom legend. The print on the keycaps looked colorful and didn't have any noticeable errors. The legend appeared centered, clear, and was exactly according to the custom typeface design that I wanted. There hasn't been any wear or fading after 1 month of heavy daily use on the keycaps either. They also fit fine in my Cherry MX-style keyboard with no major wobble or other inconsistencies.
Hungarian, PBT, cutom. They won me. A little bit pricey, and done some minor mistakes with my orders, but the support cared and helped all the time which is rare!
One of thr worst companies to costum keycaps.. it har wrong coloring design and noone updated me about the colors or the final design + very very very late 1 month and 15 days just to print and deliver!
The designers at Goblin Techkeys were very helpful in getting a design put together and responded very quickly to requested changes. When one of the keys was not quite printed properly they worked quickly to get the issue resolved and send out a replacement. I would recommend working with Goblin Techkeys if you are looking for a great custom keyboard!
Great. The key caps weren’t the shape I wanted but that was my bad for not checking the order carefully enough. Printing was great and the colour was perfect.
The keycaps are perfect and feel very high quality. but the shipping times, need a little work thankfully customer support was amazing overall 4/5 experience!
My only issue was that there was issues with receiving email AND online site/profile notifications or status change of my order fulfillment (if they even work on packing it)/updates. I had to reach out via email to customer service when the time frame of when my order was supposed to arrive based on my shipping method when I checked out during purchase. To be informed it was shipped but there was a technical error that the email notice of shipment and tracking I was supposed to received just was never pushed out to me (yes I been checking my email, junk and confirming it was the correct email).
The same time, my order on my profile still stated my order status was still ‘unfulfilled’.
Once I got the tracking number from my email trail with the customer service rep my purchase reported to arrive the next day… But my order status on my profile still stated ‘unfulfilled’ until I notify them and they changed it to fulfilled and shipped (conflicting)…
Then next day after I got my package in the early morning( so it was true) I finally got an official email with a tracking number of my package later in the evening but I just got my item. Pretty late I would say….
Overall I do love the items I received (linear silent switches), I was missing 1 switch out of 110 that I ordered and I did count 5 times and had 2 others people count with me as well. But that is okay. I’m just happy I got the item for a very good price and a very quick shipping as well aside the little issue I had. But exceptional customer service.
We worked closely with Goblintechkeys to order over 70 custom keyboards as corporate swag. There was a lot of customization involved, as we let each individual pick: keyboard size, keycap color theme, key switch type, custom name on keyboard. Their support worked with us closely to make this happen for over 70 orders.
The keyboards turned out amazing, and several other teams in our company ordered from them as well after seeing them. Highly recommend them!
