Failed to Deliver Product -- Being charged a restocking fee
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid. Ordered a stovetop on 20July 26. As of 18 Aug 26 it still has not arrived. Contacted support for both Greentoe and the assigned vendor and was told a restocking fee would apply on a return for a product I did not even receive. When delivered (after multiple calls) the delivery men were unable to install due to not bringing the correct adaptors.
Great deal on LG TV
Great deal on LG TV. Greentoe matched me with a seller of a high end LG TV. The price almost seemed too good to be true but they are legit. The TV arrived from Electronics Express with no issues.
Very hit-or-miss
Greentoe is a very hit-or-miss experience. First off, an explanation of how it supposedly works: you submit an offer for an item they list, and they bounce it to their partnered vendors and their vendors either accept the offer or bounce back a counter-offer. They have pre-set prices that they don't reveal to you that are basically auto-accept on offers. You get to fire back counter-offers and whatnot. Occasionally, you'll see "BUY NOW!" price listings, which means that you basically are being told what the lowest offer that's being accepted is that will work. The rules are, once a vendor accepts your offer, you are NOT allowed to speak about it to anyone or else they're allowed to cancel your order and ban you or w/e. All well and good, yes? I've had 3 orders through greentoe so far, and I have to say it is a very hit-or-miss experience. My first meh experience was with buying a watch -- it arrived with an internal scratch on the dial. Clearly a manufacturing defect, so luckily the vendor was willing to take it back for a full refund. I bought another one, which arrived fine. This was an instance of being lucky. The most recent order however, not so lucky. It's been over a week since my offer was accepted + credit card was charged. No updates on shipping. I've contacted both greentoe and the vendor for an update. No response. I decided to google and reddit reviews of said vendor, and that's where things started to smell fishy. Lots of shallow positive reviews of this store, but the negative reviews all have something in common: either no communication or rude communication, late responses, and that the store is selling either defects, or grey market (used) items as new. So it dawned on me that while sometimes prices look too good to be true, chances are, your gut just might be right. That being said, this is always going to depend on which vendor accepts your offer. Unfortunately, you only find out which vendor it is when the offer is accepted, and by then, you're already bound to the order. I'm going to think twice before using Greentoe in the future unless I just simply can't find the item I'm looking for elsewhere.
First Greentoe Order. A little cumbersome but terrific
First time using Greentoe and amazed that I was able, after modifying my bid, to snag a mirrorless camera accessory at a fair price below MSRP. I only rate this 4 stars because ordering was cumbersome. The credit card transaction was flagged as potentially fraudulent by CC company so I had to respond to text that I did authorize the charge. I wanted 4 of the items so Greentoe had to create 4 separate transactions. Went through the CC nonsense until the 3rd and 4th items gave option to pay directly from PayPal to vendor. I appreciate looking out for fraud but made the transaction cumbersome. It is also taking a couple of days to ship, unlike Amazon or ordering full price directly from vendor. Now I know in the future to allow several days before I actually need an item. So not great for a last minute overnight purchase like Amazon. But I appreciate the service, the discount and the fact that as advertised product is coming from authorized dealer.
Scammed by Greentoe + marketplace vendor
I want to warn others about my experience with Greentoe, which has been extremely frustrating and concerning. My offer was accepted on May 23, but the initial payment failed due to a bank limit. I was then sent an invoice, which I paid in full on May 27. Despite completing payment, my “offer” was later canceled without any clear explanation. Since then, things have only gotten worse. The PayPal receipt lists a merchant, but when I contacted them, they said they have no record of my order. Greentoe has stopped responding to my emails entirely, and the merchant has also gone silent. PayPal confirmed there is no issue with my payment, yet I have no product, no refund, and no answers. At this point, I’ve been waiting for weeks with no resolution. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a service handling significant purchases. If this situation is not resolved soon, I will be filing a formal complaint with my state’s Attorney General and pursuing further consumer protection action. Buyers should be cautious—if something goes wrong, you may be left without support or recourse.

This is the third large purchase I have made with Green Toe and all have gone well. I got a great deal with fast shipping and the large 77” LG TV arrived in perfect condition. I got a C5 OLED and it’s fantastic.
Best TV on the Planet
Well, I have to say...Greentoe is the number one place to buy product. Great service and great products. They deal with many many dealers who can offer the best prices possible. I purchased an LG 77inch G5 TV. I won my offer on a Monday and it was delivered by Friday that same week. Three days earlier than expected. And it shipped all the way from Florida. The price that was agreed upon was phenomenal. The TV listed for $3499.00 everywhere, discounted from $4499.00. My offer was accepted for $2550 (which included tax), so in essence the actual price for the tv was $2399.00. I was elated to say the least but skeptical at that price. You know....too good to be true? So I read a lot of reviews and decided to take the plunge. So glad I did. OMG...WHAT A TV...!!! The G5 is outstanding. Although the C5 was cheaper, I decided to go for the gusto and splurge for the G5. It was Brand New as all their products are. We mounted it and were blown away by its explosive picture quality. So happy I went with Greentoe. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in great products at phenom prices. Its so true, you can name your price and negotiate the deal if needed. The TV sits above our fireplace and I'm discovering HDR movies all over again like Dune and Lord of the Rings...my favs. Well...nuf said... If you're ready to buy a washer and dryer, a TV, a camera, etc... Check out Greentoe. You won't be sorry and pleasantly surprised.

Greentoe is exactly what I need. I am a small business owner(photographer) and the deals I’ve been able to get through this site are nothing short of incredible. 12 years ago I used Greentoe to purchase my first full frame DSLR camera. I had a great experience because I got a good price and it came quickly this past week. I have decided that it was time to upgrade so I went back to Greentoe to try to find a good deal. I aimed very low knowing that I would have to come up. Within a couple of days I had gotten an offer that I thought was too high. I declined the offer and then someone from Greentoe reached out and asked about my decision. They were super nice and just wanted to know if the price was the issue to which I said yes but within a few hours another representative messaged me and said hey, I might have something for you. It would be this much. ($200 from my starting point, $300 under MSRP) I really felt like they were not judgmental about me wanting a lower price and they were super helpful in finding me something I was comfortable with buying. I’m very impressed with them and I will be back to buy lenses soon.
Great Price, Legit Product and Responsive Customer Service
I was looking for a Seiko 5 watch and heard about Greentoe on Reddit so decided to give it a try. I was still a little sceptical but was able to get the watch at a GREAT price that was even lower than sale prices elsewhere online. It took two days for my watch to ship after the offer was accepted and it arrived in just two more days. Just as advertised it was a legit new watch from a Seiko authorized dealer. The shipment didn't come with a printed receipt so I contacted Greentoe customer service and they had a PDF copy of the retail receipt emailed to me later that same day. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend Greentoe.

I admit, I was skeptical. I made a low-ball offer. My offer was countered, with an offer that was still over $70 less than the best price on Amazon for the last 90 days. My item was shipped the day after my payment. This has been an exceptional experience, and I will check this site before I make any future purchases. Awesome website.
I had a great experience with Greentoe
I had a great experience with Greentoe. I was sceptical at first because it was the first time I used this company. I purchased a higher-end coffee machine which was shipped within two days and got a great deal on it. I will definitely use them again.
A Cautionary Tale Updated
My experience with greentoe is still ongoing. I first accepted a counter offer on Dec. 22 which was noted in my account and an agent separately sent an email saying they had “accepted my acceptance” and would “get things going.” Two days later I received a notice saying my offer had expired, they could find no retailers for me and I should change my offer! Confused, I immediately sent emails to customer service to clarify the conflicting messages, but never received a response. I then checked their website and accepted the price greentoe was saying the TV could be purchased for without going thru a bidding process - essentially a price at which their retailer had already agreed to honor and sell the TV. Because of this, once again greentoe quickly accepted my agreement to buy at their price. That was on Dec 24. They tell you once a price is accepted, it means the retailer has agreed to sell it to you, and its status is changed to “Being Processed” and the retailer will reveal themselves to you within 5 to 24 hours, and advise when shipping will occur. It is now Jan 5 and I have heard nothing from greentoe, nor the retailer. I have sent email replies, as well as messages submitted thru their website, but again received no response or acknowledgement. Are there Holiday delays? I could understand that. Are they overwhelmed with orders snd short-staffed? That would be nice to know. I just want to know if and when they will ship the TV they said they would sell me. If not, I will buy it somewhere else. I’ve been waiting two weeks since I agreed to pay the price they gave me twice (!) and despite it being a whole lot longer than they promised, I’ve heard nothing from the retailer (which?) nor greentoe to explain the delay or reassure me, or tell me for the second time a deal they offered and I accepted was off the table. I forgot to tell you that if I knew shipping was going to be delayed considerably, I would cancel the order before it was shipped - which greentree says you can do. But greentree also says you cannot cancel after a deal is accepted and pending - only after you know who the retailer is and before they’ve shipped. So I’m stuck in the middle and cant do anything about it, but wait to hear from them and who knows when that will be. Bottom line I’d like to get my TV from greentree, but I’d like to know now how long that’s going to be, so I can decide if that’s still acceptable. UPDATE One day after I wrote the review above, I checked the website and saw greentoe had changed my status from Accepted/Processing to Expired. So, 14 days after they told me I had purchased a TV at a price which would ensure retailer acceptance, greentoe was telling me they couldn't find a retailer to honor that price! Then I got an email giving me a different story: somehow it was my fault! Greentoe said it didn’t have my credit card info. How could that be? They asked for it on the front end as a requirement before they would accept my agreement to buy at their price and begin processing the order. And I could see the last four numbers of my credit card on greentoe’s website deal-page & in their confirmation emails. If there was any issue getting it processed, greentoe had 14 days to let me know to fix whatever problem they were having. But they did not, even though I had sent them multiple inquiries asking what was causing the delay. Look, I’m glad some people are having good experiences with this company, but if you go thru the reviews, quite a few are having big problems that take a long time to blowup or get resolved. What is so upsetting is all the lies/false promises: 1) They tell you your offer has been accepted by a retailer when it really hasn’t, creating a false sense of satisfaction which makes what happens next all the more frustrating. 2) They claim if you accept a price THEY give you, their retailers have already approved it and you can avoid the bidding process and get your order more quickly. I believed them but it wasn’t true. 3) They say once a price is accepted, you will hear with 5 to 24 hrs from a retailer who will tell you when it can be shipped. I never heard a peep for 14 days. 4) They tell you the order can be cancelled or returned. That may be technically true, but you cannot cancel an order after it has been accepted and is being processed. I sensed I was getting the runaround early on because greentoe customer service was not responding to my status inquiries over the 14 days I waited while they “processed” the order. But I could not cancel the order even though I told them that’s what I wanted to do if they couldn't deliver as promised. Greentoe is either incompetent, doesn’t care, or won’t own up suffering from the growing pains of a startup. Roll the dice because you either win big or lose big.
I will not use them again
I will not use them again. The retailer that accepted my bid, charged my credit card, and then never sent the item. They did refund my money after I reached out to them, but now prices are $50 higher than if I would have gone with a different retailer. If I hadn't been paying attention to this expensive order, they would have just kept the money and not shipped anything. They should only charge your CC when the order ships.
