I have 3 items purchased from Her Given Hair. I adore all of them. I have the Chizi Duru inspired Afro wig, the Afro Kinky draw string ponytail, and the full lace kinky blow out wig. I have the had the first 2 products for about 2 going on 3 years. The kinky blow out wig ive had for a year, I don't wear it often because I hate gluing it down.
My Chizi Duru wig I wear very often. It is still quite dense after 2 years. Maybe it's because of the texture. Over the years, I've seen a lot of people choosing the cozily textures because you can "do more with them" and that's probably what's killing the longevity of your units. People were shying away from the kinky units because they're allegedly more work,but that's only the case if you want to appear to have looser curls, so you spend a lot of time manipulating the hair.
For both my Chizi Duru wig & the kinky drawstring pony tail, I just moisturize with a little water & leave in and finger detangle. I wash & deep condition the hair as well. I treat the kinky blow out unit the same way, it's just that I can use a comb/brush in it more easily.
I would absolutely purchase from them again, provided they make more kinky hair products. But I highly doubt that will happen because everybody's looking for curls. And businesses have to cater to what their patrons want. So I'm just stocking up on sales points for right now.

I have had a couple of purchases from Hergivenhair but I definitely had my last. I bought a Coily textured Lace Front Wig for over 400$ and the unit turned out to be a waste …so much hair and so shapeless to be used. My experience with the clip-ins was slightly ok but not the best. The hair turns out so rough after a while…THIS IS NOT HUMAN HAIR as claimed so bear that in mind! The chemical smell after unboxing has always been striking but the worst part was the Invoice when I bought the Glam Full Head Coily Textured Clip-ins!
I paid 175$ for the clip-ins and shipping but the invoice read that they had sent samples worth 20 $.
For real????? 155$ profit for synthetic hair? nah....I will check out the nearby store next time, thanks!

Overall I’m keeping this review I wasn’t kept informed and now I’m showing up to my own bday bash with 2nd hand hair if I would have been updated properly I wouldn’t have depended on this wig it costs entirely too much money for them not to keep u updated then they contacted me and advised shipping would be upgraded I ordered the wig 4/15 still no wig! I’m high risk so going out shopping is out of the question even if I get my wig today I have to quarantine it so this was a horrible experience just horrible I’m in tears typing this.

They have been in contact with me and advised a glitch caused my confirmation email with receipt and purchase details to fail to send they let me know the process and even offered to expedite shipping free of charge. I’m just reserving one star because I haven’t received my order yet but I’m sure I’ll be happy.
So I ordered the wig and didn’t receive any type of confirmation, shipping info or anything I treated myself after a year of saving for my bday 5/01. Thus crisis has caused me to have to cancel plans but u figured I could still get my coveted wig. Now I’m all kinds of nervous scared and in the dark I searched for shipping reviews and customer service reviews which is how I ended up here and worried I made a mistake but wanting it too much to cancel my order. I suffer from fibromyalgia so I’m literally feeling the worry.
I had a transaction glitch with their website and got frustrated because I could not reach anyone immediately. They messaged me 2days after and worked with me to fix the issue. I received a refund for the extra charge and my order was processed immediately. I was never going to purchase from them again but customer service were professional and fixed my order the same day they reached out to me. I will purchase from them again.

I typically do not write reviews but wanted to on this item since it is difficult to find balanced reviews. This unit has too much hair and is unmanageable especially when the hair is dry. This wig too costly not to be able to use.

After watching hundreds of videos on various channels I purchased my first very wig from Hergiven hair at a cost of over $500. When it arrived my immediate reaction upon opening the parcel was shock. The box was worn and frayed in places that a new box would not be. It is shameful, and had me suspecting bad things from there. I’m just disappointed I can’t add pictures to this review!
Then I open the package and see this Dark brown thick lace. I can’t believe I paid over $500 for this.
In addition to that, the sewn in strap has been sewn into the cap, straddling the lace!! What in heaven is that about.
This is going back!

I recently purchased a coily lace closure wig and I absolutely loved it. But unfortunately it is shedding like crazy I am using the shea moisture products as recommended it helps to rejuvenate and revive the curls but, there is still major shedding. I perched hair from them in the past and was satisfied with the product. I want to continue using there products but after spending almost $500 on a wig the risk does not seem worth it. So at this point I would NOT recommend this hair because it is really expensive and the product should show better quality.

I ordered 1 bundle of the 4c clip in’s. After washing them, as directed, they did not have the same look as before. I was blown away with how quickly and efficiently customer service addressed my concern. They offered a replacement and followed up to see if the replacement product met my standards (it did!). I would definitely order from them again.
Purchased the coily glam full head set and was disappointed in the quality of the hair. The texture was nothing like the sample I purchased, the texture described on the website, nor did it look like the tutorials on YouTube. I feel like I wasted my money and could’ve gotten some cheaper but better quality from Amazon.

I paid $400 for HerGivenHair Coily Textured Full Lace Wig. The wig is balled from the crown down the center. I can't even wear a center part because the part is super wide due to the thinness and balding. It looks like it might have been a sample wig. I am unbelievably disappointed and shocked! I will not purchase from them ever again because going with HerGivenHair was a costly mistake. Don't believe the paid YouTube reviews. Wigs are subpar at best.

I bought my clip ins a couple of years back and only wore them about three times and haven't touched them since after washing them a couple of times the hair seemed to lose its texture even after adding product for moisture didn't help much. I was disappointed that I didn't get much wear out of the hair especially after what I paid for it!

Beautiful wig. Sheds a lot. I’m afraid to wash my wig. I bought it about 8 months ago (proud of your coily) and it sheds like crazy by the handfuls. My density is less and is noticeable by others. I love my wig but for the price I expected a little more. I will try once more but if that wig sheds then that’ll tell the story.
I purchased two wigs from this company within the last 3 months. The hair quality is great!
But the combs inside are flimsy, they began separating after my 1st time wearing my upart wig. And my lace grid has a hole in it and I haven't had this one 2 months yet. For as much as I spent..700.00
I would recommend you try cheaper alternatives.
There are not a lot of reviews of this company and I wish I had found more information from real customers when I purchased, so here’s my attempt to help someone:
If you need your order asap, then you should avoid the wigs section unless you are willing to wait 4 weeks to receive the hair. They have some ready to ship wigs available as well, so that might be your best bet. I paid $20 extra to receive my wig in 2 weeks.
Depending on the style you are going for, you don’t need 3 bundles of hair for a natural look, especially if you will be adding a closure or frontal. This is a great way to make the hair affordable for you. The wig I purchased is a lace closure wig, although it is cute, the volume is ridiculous. It is way too big and doesn’t look natural at all, which is the point. I have to cut a lot of tracks off the wig for a more natural look, which is sad cause the wig cost $400, but I refuse to walk around looking like I am wearing a big poufy hat, especially when they hair gets frizzy, it is a gigantic poufy mess.
They could offered cheaper wigs with less hair density. I don’t know who is walking out of the house everyday with this much hair on their head, its not cute. Not everyone Is a youtuber, some of us are regular girls with regular jobs and we need a natural looking wig, not Diana Ross wig.
Overall the quality of the hair and wig is nice - 7/10 for hair quality (I have bought better curly hair from amazon for half the price), 9/10 for wig quality, 1/10 for wig construction & style.
I like the company so far. I'm attempting to buy Kinky Blowout Texture hair but I'm cautious. I haven't had a bad experience but I've had a bad experience with other companies and have seen a few negative reviews about HerGiven. The Reviews were about "birds nest tangling" in other words matting when the hair tangles and knots so deeply it has to be ripped apart or cut out. Basically knotted beyond repair. This is due to the hair not being remy or cuticle aligned and I've seen some girls experience that with this hair. I bought the Kinky and Coily hair. I've had a few years. No problem. I wore for maybe 6 months or so. To me they don't have enough textures as neither matched mine, but it was okay. But I haven't worn the hair in at least a year and others have had bad experiences.
