We are truly sorry that your experience with the medical assistance provided in Japan and the subsequent reimbursement process did not meet your expectations. After reviewing your case, we can confirm that our Customer Care team remained in contact with you and followed up directly with IRIS Global to help move your claim forward. We are pleased that the insurance company ultimately approved the reimbursement and confirmed that the payment was processed. Regarding the medical assistance, response times may sometimes vary depending on the availability of local medical facilities, the infrastructure at the destination and the coordination required with local correspondents.  We apologise for the technical difficulties you experienced when trying to upload the documentation through the reimbursement platform, however, please note that usual processing time of a claim is 20-30 working days once all of the documentation has been submitted.  We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, as your feedback helps us identify areas where the process and communication need to be improved.
