DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY... The sizes run small dispite following the size guidelines. Trying to return them for a refund... received no return address or offer of refund available. AVOID! Purchase from a company in the uk and be happy to support UK instead of Hobibear/China corruption.

This company is just plain dishonest. I bought shoes that were not sewn correctly and cause extreme pain due to the rough seams. I sent pictures to the company and they suggested I sell them to my friends and they would provide 15% of the purchase price. Their two responses to my issue are insulting!
I wish I had read these reviews before I bought these shoes. I have had exactly the same experience as others have said here. The skies are made of a horrible synthetic that makes your feet really hot and sweaty. I usually have cold, dry feet but these make my feet really uncomfortable. You basically can't return the shoes, despite what they say on their website return policy. I believe this is misrepresentation at best and fraud at worst. The cost of returning the shoes to Germany is more than their value. Only buy these shoes if you are happy to waste your money if you don't like them or can't wear them for any reason.
I bought some shoes which look good but for me are not comfortable. The uppers are stiff and they are more restrictive than other barefoot shoes I have tried. I tried to return them but the only option is to post to Germany with a specific courier which costs more than the shoes. I ended up accepting a 30% refund and voucher towards another pair (which I won’t use). Basically you can’t return them so if they don’t fit you’re stuck with them,
This company is awful. The shoes are cheap and when you try to get a refund they will keep stalling by saying they are waiting to receive the shoes back at their warehouse. I sent the tracking number and I also tracked the shoes and they were delivered. Again I emailed them and I am still getting the same response. I will be contacting my bank and dispute the charge. Do not buy unless you want to be dissatisfied and completely screwed out of your money!
They delivered the wrong colour. Nightmare of a returns policy that I couldn't even face getting around to resolving after weeks of emails. They offered 15% as compensation but I wanted to return them. It tooks weeks to get an address in Germany and it would have cost me a small fortune to guarantee they would get there. Website looks like they have a UK base but they don't. Don't waste your money and time on Hobibear.
They have fallen apart, I sent them pictures and requested replacement and was just a response 'out of warranty ' do not order from here
The shoes are Ok but not great, if you try and return them they make it very difficult and tell you how expensive it will be and you should sell them to your friends!! So I ended up being stuck with both pairs I ordered.
Got 2 pairs of different styles. The TULLE style fits great, but the CLOVER style has too much space above my foot. It "fits" when my foot is on the ground, but when I lift my foot, it is no liner touching bthe bottom of the shoe. Contacted customer service to return the shoes, but just had the run around for 2 months. "There is nothing wrong woth thr shoes, they are just not suitable for you". Over and over. Would not acknowledge my questions and had to ask them several times. Would ask if the shoes were designed to have the gap above the foot, because if not, then it is a manufacturing defect. And kept getting that same answer. They even contradicted themselves saying "everyone says they fit great". Then saying "the shoes are for those with a high instep". And nowhere in the description did it mention anything about a different fit. Told them that if the shoe was designed to have the gap or if it was a manufacturing defect, either way it was their fault that the shoes did not fit, as I would not have gotten them if the description mentioned the"high instep design". Then they started telling me that I needed to return the shoes, but they do not pay for return shipping.
Love their shoes. They are very well made, last a long time and hold up well to constant abuse. My orders have always been correct and I'm kept well informed on the status of them. They are worth the wait!

AVOID - Worst company to deal with, sent the wrong size I ordered 2 x pairs both wrong and then expect customer to pay returns to Germany for their miss pick of items. £30 spent returning and the address they gave me rejected the package. They also said the below regarding order number being on the package - written on the address, otherwise the warehouse cannot identify the goods and will destroy them directly. If they are destroyed, we cannot give you a refund. So they have free roam to act how they want. Impossible to ever get a refund it’s a con.

Just bought my second pair of hobibear shoes Despite being a slim person, runner, cyclist, swimmer I have very wide feet and really struggle to get a comfortable pair of casual shoes without getting clown shoes that are too long for me. The first pair of hobibear shoes I bought are cool looking barefoot style shoes, I've had lots of comments positive about them but ignoring that they've just been so comfortable...foot freedom, like socks! Only criticism of them I'd have is with the sole being absolutely minimalist it can be a bit hard underfoot on concrete / tarmac so not so great for long walks on that stuff. I bought a new shoe with a slightly thicker sole and it's just about perfect, I could walk about town in these for an age in total foot comfort and reserve the others for hot days popping into a bar of a cafe. No probs with durability they're just great In terms of sizing, usually in places like Next or River Island in the UK I struggle to feel comfortable in a size 11 as they are just so narrow and then I end up with acres of extra lengths...the shoes just don't fit...with the hobibear I'm a really comfortable size 10 just perfect fit, no clown fit, no crushed toes, fine, comfortable, good....finally, at last....it's a big deal for me.
The shoes are OK for the price, but I ordered 2 pairs and wanted to return 1 pair but they make it so difficult to return them I ended up having to keep both pairs. I will not be ordering any more
I ordered two pairs of shoes. Neither fit. Trying to even find a return option on their website was difficult at best. Then came the email from them about keeping the shoes, refunding some percentage and having me sell the shoes or give them to somebody as a gift instead of returning the shoes. Absolutely appalling and atrocious. Customer service is not a thing for them. Now I won't even buy the next size to see if they'll fit
I love my Hobibear shoes. I know there were complaints about poor quality, but I think they are great. They are incredibly comfortable and I wear them around the house. I normally don't wear shoes. I kick them off and wear flip flops. I forgot to take them off one day because my feet were just that comfortable. Mine were ordered through Walmart so shipping was a reasonable time and arrived as expected. I am very happy with my purchase and intend to buy more styles.
