Very easy site to use

Very easy site to use. Gave me all the information needed when I had a query about a product I had purchased, I would 100% use the site again. I was directed towards the support app on my phone going forwards though.

HUAWEI CUSTOMER SUPPORT APP!

HUAWEI CUSTOMER SUPPORT APP! I'd like to share my superb experience using the Huawei support app (Previously known as HiCare) I was having issues with my handset being unable to load certain Apps so I contacted a customer service agent via the HiCare App. They took some basic, easy information regarding my handset and instantly got to work! They ran some remote diagnostics on my handset and resolved the issue without me having to do a single thing. My handset has worked perfectly fine since. If anybody else has any problems with their Huawei phone, I recommend using this tool that is preinstalled on your device as they are extremely efficient, professional and helpful.

4g router and phones are fab

I have purchased a Huawei 4g router and this has been fab. Got faster / better connection compared to tp link in my experience as it is used in a remote location. Also got the p20 and p30 lite phones for me and my son. Both are really slick and the cameras are great. Never had to use the customer support and hope I never will so cannot add any feedback for this but for the products I think they are fab and cheaper than competitors

The worst customer service in history…

The worst customer service in history Huawei, I upgraded my iPhone in January 2019 to a Huawei Mate 20 Lite. It all started well until my phone screen cracked, I decided to fix this via the UK Huawei team as I thought this would be a great, professional service. I reluctantly sent off my phone and kept my sim card after multiple missed information from Huawei on how I would get my handset to them. I told then that in 14days I would be going on holiday and they confirmed my handset would be returned in time, also fixed! This was the not case, I missed my phone and it was also sent back in the same condition after continued missed communication with Huawei. I made a formal complaint after multiple multiple multiple times trying to plea and discuss the issues with uk huawei customer service guys where I just wasn't being taken seriously. Weeks after my complaint I got a call from Huawei asking me to and my phone back to them so they could repair the screen, but it was too late I had this fixed myself. They then offered for a Mate 20 pro as an apology, I thought this was great and thought what a great way to correct the awful service I received. After this began in July, finally in October 2019 I thought this was resolved. I was later informed I couldn't have a pro but they would send me a 20, I was disappointed but still satisfied with the service. I even went out of my way to praise the team at executing this and closing this case. Fast forward just one month it was apparent that the phone they sent was faulty, although I worked with EE in insuring that it wasn't my sim card, network setting etc. They even sent me a new sim to try and waived the line rental fee for one month (something I did not even request). Huawei were at fault, where I can only use my phone in wifi, the phone doesn't let me receive call, send texts or go on the internet outside of strong wifi. I emailed Huawei about ten times in November and December, I received just one poor reply and then heard nothing again. Mid January 2020 I customer service agent contacted me, she came across nice and professional and I thought besides everything we were finally getting somewhere. .i gave her two options either a straight swap for my handset, whether by mate 20 lite was returned or just a replacement 20 I didn't care I just need a working phone for work, family emergencies etc. Or to take the handset and give me the money for what it is worth so I can but an iPhone or Samsung. This lady confirmed she would come back to me, but I have endlessly had to chase and annoy her colleagues in getting her to call me. I have now been told this handset needs to be sent off (likely for up to two weeks)/for them to inspect the phone as they do not trust me that the phone is actually broke. Even though EE have confirmed multiple times that this fault lies with Huawei, I even began to evidence my day of trying to make calls, send texts, join wifi, enabling wifi calling. What an earth is wrong with this company and their customer values. I strongly recommend that anyone working with Huawei / thinking about taking a Huawei phone out highly considers this. I still have a broken phone with awful customer service that is ongoing and likely not to be resolved. I am not one to complain but this is ridiculous, the timeframe they should be going out of their way to sort my awful situation out. I have since been told that my mate 20 is likely to have been a handset built for another country. The issue since Nov/Dec I have had to deal with messages from someone in head office called Malaya, I pleased with the customer service and complaints department to simply get him to call me. He refused, obviously thinks his role is above dealing with the customer directly.

I bought one of there media tablets in…

I bought one of there media tablets in the middle of December by the 30th of January it wasn’t working I have emailed and tried to call this rubbish company several times but no response. I can honestly say this has been the worse piece of technology ever ,I certainly would not buy any of there products again . And as for customer service There isn’t any.

SO bad, POOR. RUDE!

SO bad, no reply to my emails, letter, telephone calls, facebook. Not even an acknowledgement of my letter of complaint! 13th December 2019 Dear Sirs, All too often customers only bother to write when they have a complaint. This unfortunately is no exception. I have been a Hauwei Mobile phone user for good few years (and more recently purchased 3 tablets) In February 2019 I purchased on a contract a P Smart 2019. While the days of the week have a ‘Y’ in them I will not purchase an i-phone! Despite my phone having a protective cover and toughened glass screen cover I managed to drop this phone. It must be said it fell from quite a distance and landed on its back. When I looked at the phone, I had rather hoped the damage to the screen was just the additional glass cover and not the actual screen. This was not the case. When these things happen, you have to just pay up and look big. I purchased a brand-new sim free replacement from John Lewis. I ordered a new cover and glass, waited till these arrived and fitted to the new phone. In all my years of mobile phone use I have never had a screen even as much as crack, let alone smash. With in a few days the new protected P Smart 2019 came out my pocket while I got up from a chair and dropped less than 30 cm to the floor and again, landed flat on its back. Not on its side, or edge, or corner. Again, the screen had cracked significantly. Obviously miffed by this I emailed you. The email was not to ask for a new phone or even to repair it. Simply, to inform you that I felt the quality was not there and is t right these phones are so weak. Extra protection had been added and still so much damage. I emailed you twice, and no reply. As I had no reply in what I considered a reasonable time I contacted you by phone (not from my broken one) and explained the situation that this I felt was not acceptable and having dropped various mobile phones in the past 20 odd years never broken a single one. I explained that I have purchased two, now three Hauwei tablets instead of the usual Samsung and what this the correct decision following the weakness of the phones. Not once did I ever suggest something for nothing. The operative on the phone was very helpful and apologised for the non-response from my emails, and assured me he would look into this and get back to me. The following day I received and email. It is the worst presented, the worst grammar, the worst attitude I have ever come across. I can only assume you have got some one from the local comprehensive school to compose and send it while they are doing work experience with you. I have copied and pasted this exactly as I received it. “Good afternoon Mr. Gary Garton. I have read through you complaint today and definately feel for you in regards to a smashed screen. I appreciate that some phones are stronger than others becuase of their design. Unfortunately our policy states that any self inflicted damage is void of warranty. I have fed this back up the correct channels as feedback which Huawei takes very seriously. I understand that this is probably not the outcome you wanted. But its set in stone that a smahsed screen must be paid for. Kind regards,” I am far from impressed by that! It is unacceptable you allow someone to send this reply to anybody, let alone someone who is in need of some love from a company who he has purchased 2 mobile phones, 3 tablets and 2 recommendations to friends to have a Hauwei product over and able an i-phone. This reply in my mind is offensive beyond the pale. I have not only been insulted by the poor spelling and the whole email. Anyone who reads that would assume I was demanding a new phone; HOW VERY DARE YOU ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN. Your response above is clearly not acceptable, there was no offer to inspect the phone to confirm the very low impact damage was due to manufacturing defect, stress fractures or any sort. There was no care or warmth towards my loyalty towards the company. Instead, I was branded a scrounge! In light of this reply from a ‘Customer Care Employee’ I do want a resolve to my initial complaint and feel that I am now not being unreasonable in a replacement phone. Perhaps who ever wrote that email should be the one to pay for it and have some lessons in how to deal with paying customers. I am sorry to land this on your doorstep however; I am sure you and understand my anger at the company response. Had this been sent to one of your close family members I am doubtless sure you would feel the same. Once you have investigated this complaint I look forward to your reply.

I was given Huawei Watch GT2 in July…

I was given Huawei Watch GT2 in July of this year. In November it stopped working correctly. The watch was purchased through Amazon. Amazon advised me that it would be better to contact Huewei direct, Which I did. I phoned Huawie on 25 of November. I was told they would send me a "jiffy" bag with 3 days to return the watch. I was also told that they would send me a replacement on receipt of the faulty one. After a week no bag arrived, I phoned again and was told the bag was sent on 26 of November and that it would arrive in a few days but it would take some weeks to fix/replace as their subcontractor was having problems. I contacted Amazon and they gave a refund for the watch as I did not want a replacement. I am not happy at all with the lack of service provided. Should Huawei see this review and wish to check their services the reference number is HW251120193978

I would not buy anything from this…

I would not buy anything from this Company. I was sold a Huawei phone by Carphone Warehouse who said Huawei would give me a £50 cash back on the sale and provided me with the sales pack. I applied for the cash back and was told the receipt was not applicable and then told me the offer had timed out even though it had only just that day opened up. My view is it is a total scam. Try Apple much better Company.

Don't buy mate 20X 5G with the famous M pen it is not working... Waste of time... I changed 2 pens... Try everything.... The worse experience in my life... Stay away from Huawei... Buy anything else NOT HUAWEI !!!!

Dishonourable, Dishonest, Arrogant, Complacent

If I could give zero stars I would. I received a GT-395 watch with my Huawei Mate 20 Pro on 18/12/18 and paid approx €1,100.00 (£965). I started to use the watch the first week in January 2019 to monitor my sleep and heart rate. Within the week the silicone-rubber watchstrap had caused blistering and a red sore extending around my wrist. I reported this to UK & Ireland customer services and was told to email huawei mobile UK attaching photos of the allergy and a letter from my doctor confirming that the watchstrap was the probable cause. I emailed everything on 20th January 2019. Doctors appointments aren't free in Ireland unlike the UK so I had to pay €70 (£61). I informed Huawei I wanted to be reimbursed. Consumer Protection defines that €70 as a 'Consequential Loss' since it is a cost arising from the use of a company product. According to customer services my case was escalated to senior managers and to the Legal department that same day. Since 20th January I have tried many times to reach a resolution with Huawei and to obtain an update for my case but I have met resistance each time. No one will tell me what progress has been made, no one will tell me at what stage the case is, no one will explain how long the case will take to resolve, no one will send me an email in answer to my questions. I have made over 30 calls between 20/01 and 03/07 and sent 6 emails including to their CEO Complaints but even they would not step in and even joined in with the lies by saying I was going to be contacted shortly. In my last call on 03/07 I was told by the advisor that he would ask someone to contact me and if they don't he will be monitoring the situation and he will take ownership and call me himself. He never did call me - but then I was expecting that because I had spoken to him once before. I sold my Huawei P30 Pro and GT395 watch recently. Finally had enough of Huawei. I still have the names of the people I have spoken to. The only reason I am not mentioning them is because of Data Privacy. A 40Mb camera is great since there's not many companies out there selling them but once the novelty wears off and something goes wrong, you'll be stuck with a product that doesn't work, trying to speak to a company that doesn't want to know. Do yourselves a favour and look at Samsung etc. Another thing to consider is this: If you use Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Twitter any social app for that matter, a 40Mb camera will mean nothing since most social apps only allow a maximum picture size of between 5 - 12Mp to save Server space. Even emails only allow file attachments of 5Mb. You'll never be able to share those large photos socially. If you take 40Mp photos on the phone they need more space in the memory because they are larger. Two 4 minute full HD videos recorded on the P30 Pro can take up 8Gb of memory. Stick to a 12Mp camera and to a company that knows how to treat its customers. Huawei doesn't care. They are the leading mobile seller in the world so they don't need to care about you once they have your money

Worst customer services in UK ,Close to…

Worst customer services in UK ,Close to fraudulent experience with their only recommended service centre so in summary case has now been passed to regulator to investigate so hard to recommend a firm who don't want anything to do with you once their is a problem that's fine with an item for under £100 not so good with an item of £1000 honestly I would happily have given 0 star but had to give them 1 star to write this review anybody needs anything repairing through SBE Ltd watch the phone charges as my phone still not repaired and my phone bill to accept a quote is stood at £37.20 if I need to make any other phone calls this will obviously rise so In summary buy the products at your own risk as if they go wrong be prepared for months of frustration high blood pressure lies and no honour or morels

I bought the Huawei Honor 8x in…

I bought the Huawei Honor 8x in February and out of the blue the screen freezes and also the touch screen does not work. I spoke to customer service online and they said because I bought it from a store I had to go to a store to return it. At the store I was told that I had to phone to get this resolved and they couldn't help me! To say the least I am extremely disappointed and frustrated! I will never buy from Huawei again! Terrible!

By far the worst after sales support on the planet

I wish I had just sent it back for a refund SIX MONTHS ago! Got blackmailed into buying the little 360-degree camera, as they had stripped the feature out of the Android camera, so you had to buy it to take 360-degree sphere photos, and from the very beginning, the results were underwhelming with a visible stitch-line where the two halves joined. However, I contacted Huawei last October. They asked for a sample, sent it, they said "That's bad, send it back to us" several weeks later, the return envelope had not arrived, wrote back to them, they changed their tune and asked for a copy of my receipt. Sent that to them. couple more weeks (into January now) I chased them again, they finally send the return envelope. Into March, chase them again... Today they send me a letter refusing to repair it under warranty, with no reason given. Asking for £100 to send me another one! Unbelievably woeful, inconsiderate and just plain wrong service levels.
