Nice dress but for the price (£100)…

Nice dress but for the price (£100) each dress, I would expect better packaging. They ram the dress into the smallest box and then the dress is all creased!! ... So just bare this in mind to allow time to iron or steam out the creases! I think for the price, the packaging should be better!!

Great dresses The restrictions on returns should be far more obvious and explicit. I returned a dress but lost £30 in total due to restocking and postal charges. Money we can ill afford. I ordered a sale dress and they are not able to be returned at all, that is not obvious when you buy and with no warning. Pretty gutted by being blind sided. I spoke to the online chat and they didn't mention it either. Won't buy again sadly.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's…

I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding. It was in the sale but was still £50. When it arrived the quality was very poor. Didn't hang right at the back, the lace edges were fraying & crooked. It wasn't good quality. If I'd paid the full price would have been a total rip-off. I went on my order details & it was non-refundable. Wasn't happy at all. Won't order from them again.

I bought a jumpsuit and got it made custom to my measurements. It arrived and the top is at least 4 inches too big. I reached out to customer service and they said it's not their fault because they followed my measurements, insinuating that I must have got my measurements wrong. Another bridesmaid just got theirs delivered with custom measurements, and hers is also too big on top! So they obviously are just getting it wrong. Very annoying to have to pay to have a £90 jumpsuit tailored after getting it made custom to my measurements - why offer custom measurements if you can't do it right?

Products good but Inflexibility with Returns

Order arrived in 1.5 weeks (to the UK), but I ordered a couple of pairs of shoes and a few veil options and shortly after placing the order I was told that I would not be able to return any items and I should reduce my order should I not plan on keeping all items. I found this incredibly strange to flatly say that all items are handmade to order (including the shoes) and returns are only given in exceptional circumstances. I went ahead with a reduced order and was very pleased with my purchases - two veils and a necklace. The veils seem very well made and of much higher quality than their price would lead you to think. The website is horrible with all sorts of pop-ups and emails you can't unsubscribe from. In summary - it would take me a lot to order from them again, which is a shame as their products are actually good!

The dress is great so happy with it

The dress is great so happy with it. However trying to figure out how to do the purchase of a try on was to complicated took me way to long I was very frustrated by the time I figured it out. There seems to be to many glitches. Hope you can make that a little more smoother. Thanks

so elegant and classy

I purchased this item for my daughter's grade 6 graduation and the dress looks fantastic on her. The color and style really suits her well. The pattern & detailing is so elegant and classy. precise stitching, good quality material and awesome inner lining. Quality threads & back zipper. She always complains about itching of wearing most of the garments but uncomplainingly this is good quality

I placed an order money was taken from my bank then the order was suspended and they were asking me to send a photo of the card that I used to pay for my goods and also a photo of either my drivers licence or passport surely this can't be right ..has anyone else been asked to do this

Check the returns policy before purchasing

I sent for a Mother of the Bride outfit. On the positive side the outfit matched the picture and the description. The fabric was of a good quality and I loved the colour. But sadly the tops were not a good fit for me, though the trousers were perfect (and I’m a tall lady). The negatives for me are. 1. Lack of information about delivery. I downloaded the app and kept track daily. My parcel arrived and then I received an email to say it would be delivered today. 2. You can return but you cannot replace items. Ideally I needed a larger size in 2 of the items but that was not possible. 3. My biggest and major gripe is that I will be out of pocket to the tune of +£30. This is what I will be charged. Buyer should beware. Will not be using this company again..

Big disappointment! Custom size doesn't fit!

They were easy to work with and sent "Try-ons" promptly. HOWEVER, be aware that regular sizing is way off-at least two sizes too small. I ended up ordering custom and it didn't fit correctly. When I contacted them the day after receipt they just said "too bad"-- that I had agreed to their conditions when ordering custom. If they had asked for more measurements, it would have been more accurate. (Even though I made other notes in my order, it seems they can't be that specific.) Also, workmanship is shlocky. Lining shows below sleeve; decorative lace is torn and sewed over. If you need customized sizing, go to a local seamstress to make you a dress! PS> Pricing looks attractive, but remember that the jacket shown in pictures is an add-on, plus custom sizing, plus shipping. It adds up!

Be cautious about extra costs

The rating is not related to the quality of the product—it was nice and just as pictured. The main issue with purchasing from this website, and something I recommend buyers be cautious about, is the return process and extra fees. I ordered two dresses, each costing $94, to see which one suited me better. They charged me separately for shipping, totaling $39, which brought my total to $204 after applying a 20% discount that I had to buy for $10, along with a first-purchase coupon. First, selling discounts doesn’t seem like a good idea. Second, charging double shipping fees feels like an extra cost! When I tried to return one of the dresses, after all the deductions—discounts, shipping fees, coupons, and a restocking fee—I was told I’d only get $63 back. This means one dress ended up costing me $147, not the original $94! I strongly recommend reading all the return and fee policies carefully. If you can't find what you're looking for at Macy’s, Nordstrom, or other websites with more straightforward return policies, then consider buying from here.

Waste of time and money

Try on dresses was an easy process but the my actual purchase and return process was disappointing. The quality of all if the dresses I tried were just just ok. My purchased dress (size 20) was shipped in a 5x3x10 box, and was so squished, it would have been nearly impossible to press all of the wrinkles. The dress was also bigger than the measurements indicated and would have required significant altering. Printing the return label was easy, but Printing the approved return slip that goes in the box was not. It was a tiny jpeg photo that was illegible when enlarged. My experience with JJ'S House was not worth my time.

Almost 5 stars

Two of the three wraps I ordered were just perfect, however the sizing on the third was on the small side. Partly my fault as the style is not loose & is slightly fitted, but according to the sizing measurement chart it checked out. So the medium I ordered turned out to be way too snug in the sleeves & I can't imagine going up one size would make much difference because I have toned & thin arms, so the style is obviously designed for a very lean frame. Normally medium fits me generously but not this time. Otherwise shipping was quicker than expected by a few days (10 days) which is impressive for made-to-order garments.
