I ordered 3 designer inspired handbags.
On 5.20.25, I received the WHITE HIMALAYAN CROCO EMBOSSED HANDBAG. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The top portion edges of the handbag are BEIGE. The pictures throughout the website show the handle edges and the top edges as black. The handbag that I received has BEIGE edges. It looks cheap and plastic like and 100% clashes with the color of the handbag. The handbag is White and Grey. The BEIGE EDGES are an eyesore. Bottom line, what was sent to me and what was in the pictures are 2 different handbags. I received a response asking for a picture of the handbag that was sent to me. I got a follow up response that said, yes the handbag that was sent to me was NOT the handbag on the website and the website would update the pictures. BOTTOM LINE, This business was selling a handbag that did NOT represent what was sent to me. The NEW pictures do NOT show the edges up close, trust me. The handbag is white and grey and the edges are rubber band beige. An absolute eyesore. I was asked multiple times to update my review or remove it. This business did give me a refund for this handbag after multiple attempts to get the refund. The Kelli handbag and the Leather Sellier handbag are acceptable. I will continue to NOT recommend this business. I upgraded my review from 1 star to 2 stars, because the business shipped 2 acceptable handbags however they shipped the Croco embossed handbag that did NOT even remotely match the old photos. Buy at your own risk. Update the website, so customers can see CLOSELY the handbag and that it clashes with the Grey and white body of the handbag.
My experience with Popsewing is mixed. I waited a month for my order to ship and emailed twice to inquire about the status. When I finally received a reply the item I ordered was out of stock and I was encouraged to buy a different item despite asking for a refund. So in the end I have a bag that I didn't really want but I did enjoy the process of putting it together. Some sections were quite difficult to sew together but for the most part instructions were easy to follow. The quality of the leather isn't the best and some parts aren't leather or maybe they are heavily coated leather I'm not sure, but there was a heavy smell of plastic on some of the pieces. When I did get in touch customer service was friendly and prompt, and I was able to customize a keychain which I am really happy with.
I bought a diy birkin, and had a great time putting it together. I felt like I was making my own handbag, so I didn’t feel bad that I had a fake bag. I also purchased a classic sellier bag that was pre made, and that one turned out amazing! Quality leather, nice stitching, this did not disappoint!
I placed an order for 2 size 35 pre-made bags on 01/01/2025, and paid $9.99 for expedited shipping. By 01/10/25 I had not received any tracking information, so I reached out and got a reply by email 2 days later from someone saying that they would refund me my shipping cost and send me tracking information within 2 days. Not only did I not get that info, I have emailed 2 additional times and not gotten a reply. This is insane I see people posting on social media that they ordered bags after I did and they already received them.

I actually cut apart the strap the bag came with (I don't like long straps on bags anyway so i wasn't going to use it). It's made up of one layer of plastic lined with some kind of felt, and the inside has a weird fibrous material that's fixed to another plastic layer - definitely not leather. I wish I could post a pic here. I also did the water test (leather will eventually absorb a drop of water) and this failed it. I also scratched the coating with some dull scissors and the plastic just kind of wrinkled. Anyway, don't gaslight me - it's not leather. But feel free to send me a real leather purse any time.
The bag was fun to make, but it was not leather, it was plastic. For over a hundred dollars I feel like they could have sent leather. But instructions were clear and it was fun. Just wish the materials were better quality.

I made the designer bucket bag from Popsewing.
I found the quality and prepared items to be excellent.
I followed instructions from the Popsewing video and pdf, which were very clear.
I am very happy with my Popsewing bag, and have already ordered another one.
The product is leather mini doctor bag diy kits, which is setting the price in the store website at 69.99 usd.
After unboxing, I found something wrong that it is so quite different from my former 2 times purchased.
Condition of this time product, it seems not to be premium grade as same as the former. It's not to be in good quality, as shown as picture files in the email sent to inform to service @popsewing.com
#Box-inside packagings look very cheap.
#Materials are not in good quality, very old and so dirty condition.
#Hole punching is not gentle and clear.
#Some leather skin is scratched.
#Two pieces of shoulder strap are defective.
Even though there is some discount receiving, it must not mean that quality has been changed.
Customer thrust in the products quality reliability and good image are big points for store should pay attention to in order to compete in business in the long run.

I am happy to have had the bag done by them. It is beautiful. My only concern is that the hardware seems to be tarnishing already. I notice this on the hardware to close the bag. I still love the bag and I hope to use it for a long time. It has become my favorite bag.
Not worth it. Defective pieces, bad customer service
I received pieces with glue stains on what is supposed to be the premium leather. contacted Popsewing and they offered a refund. I wanted to combine it with another order, they rescinded the refund offer and suggested I should file off the stain. I asked for a replacement piece and they finally agreed but have gone radio silent and not sent anything. 6 weeks later still no sign. Waste of time and money.

Hi dear, sorry for the worst experience. As we communicated before, we have two versions of this bag, you saw the rounded punch one in the YouTube video but bought the diamond-shaped punch one on our website. We've added explanation on our website and sorry again.
This company will delivery the products, but they are dishonest about them. The handbags are plastic. They look, feel and smell plastic. The time to delivery pre-made handbags is given as 3-5 days, but it took them 10-12 days. There are only positive reviews, so I assume they remove bad reviews online.

1. Some of the bags you bought are cow split leather. This type of leather is possesses distinct characteristics, such as a fibrous texture and reduced durability. So our split leather is coated with polymer to make it durable. That's why it not looks like real leather.
2. Usually, it takes 3-5 days to handsew a bag. And we do our best to fulfill pre-made orders each day, including weekends. Sorry for delay fulfill your order of 2 pre-made bags.
3. We don't have the access to remove bad reviews. All reviews from the third-party website are real.
