Bribes for good reviews. If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Ordered mid-November, only this week (mid-January) did I get my money refunded after no battery arrived. I ended up having to raise a Paypal dispute with them to get my money back. I do not believe they hold ANY UK STOCK. My battery was 'in stock' upon ordering and then out of stock and 'had to come from Hong Kong. They keep emailing me offering me a refund of £40 + extra £5 for a 3-5* review! Don't touch this company with a barge pole.

Don't be led up the garden path.by Powerguider For more than a week I have been trying to contact Powerguider about a new battery that will not work in my laptop but I've had no response whatsoever, - which seems typical of this company when you read the reviews. I wish I had done that in the first place, but it is easy to be taken in by promises of Live Help, a 30 day money back guarantee, and a 3 year warranty. .

Avoid like the plague. After prompt delivery of a defective laptop battery, cannot get any response regarding returning the item. £30 out of pocket at the minute.
Chinese Company Pretending to be in UK
I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from Powerguider. I thought they would be fast and reliable, given they had a UK address. They promised delivery within 5 days and 10 days later, no sign. I have emailed them three times. I have gone to 'live help' only to find no one is there. Meanwhile, I am having lots of trouble with my laptop because the battery is dead. If I had known this was a company in China, I would have avoided because I know it takes about 3 weeks to get anything from there. Their lack of communication is disgraceful. Worst of all, their website really misrepresents their ability to deliver. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

This is a Chinese company that has no physical address and refuses to communicate with its customers only via PAYPAL or your Credit Card Company. Powerguider's 3 year warranty is valid in practice as long as the life of a prawn sandwich. One star is one too many.
Royal Mail Special Delivery paid for but used
Ordered a laptop battery and paid £12.00 for Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day. Received an email next day saying it had been dispatched via Yodel with a 3-5 business day delivery period. Tried their website online contact to query them, but there is 'nobody online', despite it saying manned from 9 am - 4pm. Emailed my complaint and to cancel the order, will see how long they take to respond. Wish I had looked at reviews before placing order.
No excuse for this non existant customer service
I ordered a Dell laptop battery but the one I received was not a Dell. It did not matter because it doesn't work. I have emailed twice and left a message via the website but not had any response. I would not recommend the website.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They sent out the wrong laptop battery and said they didn't stock the battery I originally ordered, yet it is still advertised for sale on their Website. Originally ordered the item on 10th April 2017, it is now 15th June 2017 and I am still trying to chase up a refund for the returned item.

UPDATE: I am updating my review to 3 stars as the seller contacted me following previous negative feedback. Apparently the battery was sent to someone else first. They've resent it to me and I've received it now. ======================================================= Ordered battery two weeks ago - they took payment, but no sign of battery yet. No phones to contact, no replies to emails - I wonder how I fell into these crooks. I paid by Paypal, so I need to try and get my money back.

The battery price was good, but I had to replace it as it could not hold the charge,despite following the initial charging instructions to the letter. I had the second 9 months when it did not seem to last very long , now after 15 months into a 3 year warranty it is being replaced without any quibble

17 April 2017 Update. Following my earlier bad review (below) Powerguider sprang to life and sent me a replacement battery. I have therefore upgraded their star rating from 1 star to 3 stars.. Battery purchased two months ago will not hold its charge longer than a few minutes, despite following their new battery instructions to the letter. I have e-mailed Powerguider and filled in the "Live Help" on their website (which is not live at all), and they have not responded. There does not appear to be a telephone number to call for help. I have now asked my credit card provider to help me get a refund.

The battery of my laptop had died and wouldn't keep charge any longer. I needed a replacement to get that essential mobility back, since being stuck to the wall is not the way a laptop's bought for. I got one from these guys and it's been great. It did exactly what you would like a battery doing--Keeping the laptop fully charged and ready to go. It now runs for a significant number of hours and it was only a cinch to install.
