I highly recommend avoiding Rail Ninja and booking directly with the official national rail operator instead. This service is a third-party reseller that charges massive, unjustified markups under the guise of being the "official" booking platform.

I had 3 bookings where the payment failed to go through (‘Payment Failed’). I was eventually successful in completing the booking I wanted, but now cannot delete the 3 ‘Payment Failed’ reservations.

App worked great to locate rail options. Once selected, though, the app stalled out before allowing tickets to be purchased. Adding "Mrs" to my wifes name in the booking somehow caused the failure. I exited the app, opened it hours later, resumed "previous booking", and was finally able to complete the purchase. The only thing holding back a 5-star rating.

The booking went very smoothly, as did the payment. We paid for the executive class. However, just one minute after the payment, we received an email stating that our option could not go ahead. The new option was a lower clasd. The next day we've received an email for a refund. Perfect Service!

What a total scam. Thought there would be a slightly higher charge like with trainline which I was fine with but for trains from Prague to Vienna its 20 euros more which is digusting. Just go to the official rail websites.

I booked a train ticket through their website believing I was paying the actual ticket price. Only after contacting the train operator (SJ) regarding a compensation claim did I discover that the ticket itself cost 1,200 SEK, while Rail Ninja had charged me 248 EUR—more than twice the actual fare. The difference consisted of service fees that were not made sufficiently clear during the booking process. Had I booked directly with SJ, I would have paid significantly less for exactly the same ticket. The lack of pricing transparency is very concerning. Customers should be able to clearly distinguish the actual ticket price from any additional fees before completing their purchase. In my case, this was not obvious, and I felt misled into paying an excessive markup. I strongly recommend comparing prices with the train operator's official website before booking through Rail Ninja. It could save you a substantial amount of money.
