Totally disappointing; no files were recovered even after a few hours of accidently deleting it. I accidentally SHIFT-deleted an entire folder of images and media. Upon installing and paying for Wondershare Recoverit (date of purchase - 5th June 2026) within the same day, the software did not even recover any file from that mother folder where I deleted the child folder. Very very disappointing. No files were recovered. The software did detect lots of files that were deleted months back to a few years. However, these files are unrecoverable, even with the fix feature on the software, so a waste of time.

Well I had high hopes for a decent outcome for a foolish mistake I made. I lost a pile of data that I was backing up that extended back many years, most of which were in the form of PDF files. I paid the money, which was significant but I felt was worth it if the claims the business were making were true. I won't get into the annoying surveys which they will not allow you to bypass but the horrendous amount of time the scan took (and finally stopped be me the next AM) but all of the so called recovered PDF files came back completely destroyed. I've spent more than two days now going through them one by one with more than 95% of them totally corrupted. The small portion saved are not much good to me. I admit fully that I was the foolish one for not having backed up so may PDF files over a long period of couple of years but the cure of this exercise is definitely punishment enough.

On te 6th of April I paid for via Paypal and downloaded Wondershares Recoverit program. I was unaware that this was a monthly subscription with automatic renewal until I received a notification of another debit from Paypal on the 6th of May. I immediately logged on to Paypal to question this transaction and canceled the automatic subscription of which I was unaware. Moments later I logged on to the Wondershare account where I also cancelled this automatic subscrption. I made a request via their on-line form for a refund and read that it could take a few days to complete a refund. Now 8 days later I have read that my refund request been denied and that a representative will be reaching out to me via email – I AM STILL WAITING!! That my refund request was denied so close to the second debited amount is unacceptable and I feel that I have been lured to pay for something that I did not request. Now reading other reviews about Wondershare I would also warn prospective buyers to be aware of their tactics and avoid purchasing from this company.

I tried this service as I was desperate to recover a PowerPoint presentation, and felt safe that if it was unsuccessful, I could obtain the 7-day money back guarantee. It did not recover my file. However, instead of issuing my money back, it asked for me to copy into a zip drive all the files it recovered. I ran into issues when trying to do that, but sent them what I had. However, they said what I sent them wasn't the full list so I'd need to resend it. I tried again. This time my email came back to me saying it was blocked. So, not only did I not find my missing file, I was also out $60! 0 stars, do not recommend!

I purchased the software. It was awful and didnt come close to what i needed. And its been impossible to get any refund despite them promising i would. Avoid paying all that money for this software. Their customer service is abysmal. And as for their response below, complete nonsense I've contacted them countless times they offer no help or refund.

My horrible experience with WonderShare I tried to use this to recover the lost changes to my document. It made me restart my laptop twice, which led to me losing the whole document (even though i saved it) because of some scanning software installed. My submission is tommorow for the document and i have nothing to show my teacher because of this stupid app that took 48 hours to open and after did not even help me recover the lost file.

I was charged and didn't receive the digital download. It kept crashing my computer. I sent a notification to them about this and they refused my refund. I was charged $58.44 and then another $9.99 and was never able to use the service. I had to ask PayPal for help to try to get the money back they stole.

The software failed to recover old photos, but that's not the issue ; the problem is they put more efforts in trying to not refund you even if they stand a "7 days money back " policy but that's not true, they will try everything to make you drop trying to get a refund. It's a software bought by wondershare and they clearly not care about the product they sell but only by your money and they will try everything to keep it ! At first I didn't wanted to be this harsh, because the only issue was that the sercive is absurdely expensive and that it didn't work, even though on the PREVIEW PICTURES EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. But now I am already fighting for multiple days to get my money back according to their 7 day money back rules. But they find one excuse after the other of what I didn't do or what could have went wrong but that's simply not true. My guess is they want to push it past the 7 day threshold. But I will continue on via PayPal afterwards if I have to, because again: crazyy disproportionately expensive licensing

You have to pay just to find out whether the files were recovered correctly or not; I can’t view them. I have to pay to see if there’s even anything there. They should at least let you check whether it’s worth paying to recover the images or videos stored there. This app seems more interested in taking people’s money than in helping them find what they’re looking for, especially since, if they’re using the system to recover deleted files, it’s because something has already gone wrong, and people are already too frustrated to have to waste time installing this program just to waste even more time and get absolutely NOTHING! I’ll never install this again, and I don’t recommend it to anyone!!!!

Very disappointing experience with Wondershare Repairit. I purchased the software to repair corrupted video files, but it completely failed, none of my files could be repaired. The product did not deliver its main function at all. To make matters worse, the subscription was automatically renewed without my intention to continue. I only realized after being charged. I contacted customer support to request a refund, clearly explaining that the software did not work, but my request was rejected based on their policy. This feels very unfair, as I paid for a product that provided no results. Overall, ineffective software and poor customer support. I would not recommend.
