Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers heavily criticized the poor network connectivity, noting that weak signals and frequent disruptions made daily internet usage and online transactions extremely difficult. Additionally, customers faced major problems with billing, describing unexpected charges, unwanted automatic renewals, and a frustratingly unhelpful online support team.
Some reviewers were happy with the polite staff available at physical service centers and found the roaming connectivity quite useful when traveling abroad. However, others noted that resolving account problems online remained a tedious and stressful process, often leaving people without proper assistance or resolutions. Many individuals also experienced significant delays when attempting to terminate their long-term contracts.
SIMBA customer service is bad, there’s no hotline to call. I requested for a port-in, it said it’s unsuccessful and requested me to do another registration. Problem is I’ve paid, why ask me to pay again when they can’t even provide anything for me.
Although SIMBA was formerly TPG it definitely showed their business acumen. As a budding enterprise and service provider undoubtedly it has to watch its expense - thus there is no human response in terms of support number to call but their email response to queries are promptly answered. It also genuinely looked after consumer interests with its high quality packages and highly affordable price. Other service providers which I had experienced for past 30 years only cared for their bottom line, cutting down prices just to compete when their primary focus should not only be their bottom line but consumer interests! Keep up your efforts SIMBA and I hope that it will become a Prime Telco provider in the near future!
You really having a useless service by taking a lot of user for greedy on the money but your service coverage is really a useless, I'm really very regretted to buy your stupid Simba internet service. Soon or later I'm going to change for other Telco services rather to suffer with Simba. What is point you asking for a date, telling the truth all the time your simba internet service is useless.
SIMBA broadband, slow speed & hopeless customer service
I subscribed for 2,500 mpbs broadband service but the actual upload service is 25-25mbps and download, 400-450mbps.
There is no customer service no and you hv to complain via web form (quite detailed), with no copy of complaint or documents provided. The company (SIMBA) reverted the next day with a further list of questions from subscription details (already provided in web form and photos, screen shots etc etc which is difficult / technical for common public . Despite providing all details, 4/5 email exchange with more queries but problem not resolved in 48 hours. My request for a phone call (easier to clarify) and update on what action taken in backend conveniently ignored.
Pathetic service and I am surprised how a developed country like Singapore which prides in service excellence, allow this pathetic service.
Problem still unresolved.
Consistent 5G coverage islandwide.
Sign up is a breeze. Just key in online and they will send you the sim.
You can port in your number as well.
Fast speeds in exceed of 180mbps down and 30mbps up
Good roaming coverage also.
My husband and I had been to the Simba store located in Orchard Center 2 days ago. We are on vacation from California, trying to setup a phone and a tablet to get calls and data. Seemed like an impossible task. Until we met one of your staff Shaik at the orchard center Simba store, his patience and perseverance helped us negvigate the daunting task. We would like to commend him on his professionalism, and dedication to the customers and the Simba brand.
I want to thank Linda at the Orchard Central outlet for her good service in helping me to withdraw the termination of my line. She was also patient to explain and also change the sim card that was faulty. Thank you.
Custome service at Canberra is very helpful, had no problem with them and has visited them numerous times. My 4 kids, my hubby & my tablet is with Simba. In December 2023 we were in Switzerland, London & Turkiye, had NO PROBLEM at all, worth every penny paid & roaming is super cheap and connection very good.
As for me, im with Starhub now, but once my 2 years contract end with starhub, will definitely switch to Simba. Im super unhappy with starhub, subscription so expensive, roaming also expensive, Global 2GB for $50, bloody daylight robbery. Days of paying high subscriptions are over, better save that money for better use esp those like me with big family. Honestly, Simba is good but when in overseas, don't forget to switch your APN & it will work well. Hope Simba will improve & not degrade or else will switch to other telco.
I requested a new e-SIM QR code replacement and was able to have everything completed within a few minutes. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service provided by Mr. Barn
Simba is a good upcoming telco in Singapore.
Effective and Efficient services, but are they true to their advt... probably not.
They trick you into their Roaming Max plan to only learn after subscribing that you cant change back to another plan. They will keep you stuck on the 25$$ plan for min 2 months.
However is this contract free ? Pls be true to customers..
