Excellent and very helpful customer support I contacted SunFounder’s support team as part of my Jugend forscht research project because I needed 3D models of the PiDog for my work. The support team responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful. Although they did not have a dedicated CAD/URDF model available, they provided me with an existing 3D model that is a very useful starting point for my project. I especially appreciated that they took the time to respond to my specific request and support me with my student research project. I purchased the Elite Explorer Kit. The kit was all inclusive. The support that I received for installation and operation was interactive, detailed and clear. Also, I am 87 years old, never too old to learn.
The case (Pironman 5 Max) which I bought, worked perfectly on Raspberry Pi and the support team was responsive when I faced the difficultly with one of the PD charging issue.
Thanks to sunfounder I was able to create my lifelong dream and build a robot although I had some problems along tthe way the customer support was super nice and helped me get it working again and it is for a really good and reasonable price!

My son and I are working through the 34 lessons as part of the Inventor Lab Starter Kit. My son has really taken a liking to it and works independently now. The other day he tried using the 2 line LCD in the kit and couldn’t get it working. We contacted customer support and they helped us solve the problem right away and didn’t require a new LCD. Great product, great service. Highly recommend.

Despite a very long wait due to shipping delays and price increases—including a partial cancellation with a refund, which was processed promptly—I am satisfied with the seller. What I considered an absolute disaster was the abysmal shipping provider, FEDEX. It hardly gets any worse—from customs clearance to delivery. At times, I even doubted whether I would receive the package at all. For this service, I would give FEDEX 0 stars if I could.
Very disappointing experience – months of waiting and no clear solution I placed an order with SunFounder and was informed that one item was out of stock, with new inventory expected within approximately two weeks. I agreed to wait and asked them to ship the complete order once everything was available. After that, I had to follow up several times myself. Each time, the delay was extended. Later, I was also told that the Raspberry Pi 5 16GB board I had ordered was no longer available. On June 4, SunFounder wrote to me that all items in my order were now back in stock and that they were preparing to ship the complete order. However, shortly after that, they told me this was a mistake and that only the 4GB version was available. When I questioned what had happened to the 16GB board from my order, I was told that the 16GB Raspberry Pi boards they had in stock had been used internally by their technical team, and that none were left for shipping. In my opinion, this is extremely poor customer service. I waited for months, was given changing information, and only received important updates after contacting them myself. I ordered and paid for a specific product, but I am now being asked to accept a lower-spec version or cancel part of the order because the item is no longer available. I understand that stock issues can happen, but the communication and handling of this order have been very disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend SunFounder.

I had a fan problem on the cooling tower of the Pironman 5 and contacted the support, which helped me right away and advised me very professionally. They sent me a new cooling tower complete with fan which I received within 6 days. Great service!
The Pironman 5 case is vastly superior to the other raspberry pi cases I've tried before. And it looks cool! Unfortunately I damaged mine and needed to purchase a replacement part. I contacted SunFounder customer service and they responded right away, and guided me through ordering a new part, which I received in the mail in just a few days. Thanks, SunFounder!
Weeks of trying to download their support code for the sensor kit to a raspberry pi. There seems to be a problem with their code working with UTF-8 on raspi pi. Their help source didn't do any help. The kit of sensors seem to be just fine as some of them work but others need additional support code. Very frustrating.
I have found Sunfounder customer service not only willing to help, but eager to help. Also, I am currently enjoying Paul McWhorter's Lessons on the Pico W, which are wisely supported by Sunfounder.
I needed to call upon customer service as I failed to get a software installation of a SF product working. I got excellent support: cs responses were timely, friendly and to the point. And most importantly, it got me going again !
