Excellent support – password reset worked perfectly
I had a problem with a Techage NVR because the password reset code was linked to an old email address that I could not access anymore. The device came from a company that no longer exists, so I had no way to contact the previous owner.
Techage support helped me very quickly through WhatsApp. They explained what I needed to do, helped me with the reset code/super password, and in the end the reset worked successfully.
The support was friendly, fast and very helpful. The cameras are working again now.
5/5 stars – thank you very much for the great help!
Poor customer service and misleading warranty support
I bought a set of cameras from Techage about 10 months ago. Initially, everything worked fine after installation, but after around 4 months, one of the cameras stopped working.
I contacted customer support, and instead of helping resolve the issue efficiently, they asked me to provide video proof that the camera wasn’t working. I did exactly that, but they still weren’t satisfied and claimed I hadn’t performed the reset correctly — even though I followed their instructions and held the reset button for more than 6 seconds.
Eventually, they told me I could return the camera under the 12-month warranty, but I would have to cover the shipping costs myself. They also listed multiple reasons why the warranty might not apply (accidental damage, water damage, “human-induced” issues, etc.), which didn’t inspire much confidence.
They offered a 30% discount on a replacement camera, but in reality, I only received €8.74 off a camera costing over €40. When I questioned this, they said the discount doesn’t apply to VAT — which felt misleading.
To make matters worse, their after-sales support relies heavily on chatbots, and even when you do reach a real person, the help isn’t much better.
Overall, very disappointing customer service. Just be aware that if something goes wrong after a few months, getting proper support or a fair resolution may be difficult.
Bought an NVR with POE cameras.
After 2 years the Video outputs (both ports stop to work). I've contacted the assistance that told me the product was out of warranty and to buy a new one. (No spare parts to sell, also if the issue was just the power supply power converter).
So I bought a new NVR.
After 1 month the new NVR stop to record on the Hard Disk. Contacted the after sales service that other than asking for product information, pictures and video did not propose any solution.
I'm asking for a refund, but do not advice to buy from this brand
One year after the purchase of 4K cameras and NVR - 2 cameras with malfunctioning IR LEDs. Just few months later - all IR lights on all 4 cameras are gone and no night vision. All of cameras were used with Smart (default) settings which means, the lights were most of the time off. Contacted techage.com about warranty and gave then even serial numbers - no answer.

Hello, please kindly provide us order number and model name about that, so that we can arrange the stuff to contact you.
after 6 years I replaced my old analog Hikvision camera system with a Techage camera system
the image is of very high quality, beautifully sharp and saturated colors
it has many options for system settings
the cameras have both a microphone and a speaker, so they support two-way voice communication, and they also have an LED for night illumination
I am extremely satisfied with the Techage camera system and can only recommend it
We have been using cameras from this company for many years. They are perfect. We bought a newer 8K this year. We had a bit of compatibility issues, but the tech support via whatsupp was very helpful and attentive. I recommend they are the best and so are the cameras. We also thank you for the care you took with the setup.
the picture is excellent. The cameras work without any problems. They switch between each other when the non-tracking camera takes someone down.
