When traveling through Indonesia/Asia I used Traveloka to book accommodation as their rates were very competitive compared to other hotel search engines. Twice I encountered a problem with my booking and both times these were sorted quickly and in a professional manner. I also received assistance and compensation for a replacement hotel booking. I had similar problems pop up with some of the other major hotel booking sites and found Traveloka's customer service way superior. Maybe I was lucky, I don't know, but for sure will use their services again when traveling through Asia (specifically Indonesia) I only ever booked hotels through their website so can only comment on that
Huge Indonesian Travel site is VERY VERY good for the Indonesian market. When in Indonesia use for hotels, flights, transfers and trains...works very well. Also useful for booking Asian low Cost airlines. Pricing in other global markets is lacking. Although they do have some "pass through"s through Expedia Hotels that can be cheaper than booking direct with Expedia. also some good promo codes for discounts. Be careful to watch which currency you do your transaction in. In Indonesia easy to pay at alfa or Indomart outlets at only 2500rp fee. Very good and useful site in Asian Market and especially Indonesia.
We found this website via a couple of blog posts and needed to book an internal flight in Vietnam. We tried to book the flight directly on Vietnam Airlines site - but it glitched and wouldn’t let us continue at the point of entering and confirming email addresses. For just a few thousand Dong more (maybe US$1-2) we booked with no problems on Traveloka. The site took a few minutes to process the payment on my Australian Visa card, then issued the ticket along with a PNR. Then I read the reviews on here and PANICKED!!! I couldn’t access the PNR on vietnamairlines.com but did a ‘livechat’ with Traveloka and the consultant sent me a link which then accessed the PNR with no problem. The issue was I’d been using PNR/Surname/my email - but the email associated with the PNR was actually the travel agent email. Once I did this, no problem at all and I could see the booking along with the e-ticket numbers. We are really happy with this experience - we couldn’t use the airline’s own website and to book the exact same flight on Expedia in Australian dollars was going to cost more than twice as much - came to A$315 on Traveloka vs. A$670 on Expedia.com.au. It seems from reviews here on Trustpilot that many negative experiences (though not all) are as a result of changing dates/names/urgent circumstances or even not knowing your visa requirements. If you have a straight forward booking and are confident with online bookings then there seems to be no problem - we will definitely use them again for flights where it is a significant saving over booking direct or with another Online Travel Agent. (However... our 71 year old mother still uses a travel agent in her local shopping centre - as that’s what works for her and she has a person to assist her, in person, if things don’t go according to plan).

Most of the transactions I did with traveloka are booking airline tickets, and despite many bad reviews from other people, luckily I have never experienced problems when using this application. I have once experienced an error ordering a ticket, but the customer service I contacted immediately helped me.
So crazyyy....traveloka is grrrrrrr... How come failed in transaction payment but deducted the.no at in my account.... This is stupidity.sorry for the term but then I.was really upset.

I've been using Traveloka since 2014. It's easy to use, the price that I see is already including tax, I can do online check in 24 hours before departure, and the one that I like the most is easy to contact Customer Service, even I can do reschedule and refund in the app. Before having Traveloka, I need to contact the airline, ask how much money will I get back, tell my bank account, etc; but now I can do everything in this app. Very recommended for those who love travelling!

5 stars for giving occurate flight rate and listing all cheapest rate at the top. I also availed a lot of discounts on flight and hotel bookings. Traveloka also has a free internet access at the AirPort with the highest speed than Globe and Smart free wifi. Kudos to traveloka!

Sometime the price with pronmotions beat the concorrent of 1 or 2 dollars, but the assistance you get in case of problems is a joke! they really never care. they send lot of mails but never answer the questions or address the real problem and of course never get any refunds. So be careful! NOT raccomended.
